Dr. Brandy Lashay Beauchamp, MD

I moved to another state from Tx, where Dr. B was my pediatrician. Without a doubt, & by far, having to leave this amazing Dr. that was stellar w/my kids, & the job she did was the hardest thing to give up and leave behind. I wanted to stay n Tx solely because she was the greatest Dr I have & prob will ever find. If your child is a patient of hers, then, you are so, so lucky.

Dr. B has seen my daughter since she was a newborn, she is really good with ger and makes the visit very mid friendly. I can call her and she'll call me back the same day. Her staff are awesome, they make it very comfortable for both my daughter and I. I woukd recommend her to any parent.

what's up with the running around. you here in the hall talking like a baby. waited forever and then she excuses herslef to go pee. you couldn't take a minute before you came in the room you to long enough.looking for new doc is she the ped pt or the ped dr.

the nurse who checked us in seemed more educated than dr. beauchamp. we asked if "dr. b." would clip our daughter's fingernails, and she told us we had to do it ourselves at home. our daughter is an infant. i'm sure we will have to learn at some point, but she is our first, and we need help learning! she told us to be careful with the quick of our daughter's nails. OMG! humans do not have a quick--dogs do! maybe she would have fared better as a veterinarian. why become a pediatrician if you do not have children yourself? she didn't know how to put the diaper back on our daughter after she took it off for part of the exam. she spoke with ebonics, which also made her sound highly uneducated. instead of ask, she said, "aks." She also bossed my husband around. "Turn out the lights!" "Close the door!" She was very abrupt in that regard. About the only thing she did right was take her time with allowing us to "aks" questions. when we asked about how long we should let our… daughter cry in her crib, she said she would feel comfortable with 3 hours. Who does that? She clearly isn't a mother! Her office staff asked for my husbands social security # while there was a line of people standing behind me. they also tried to collect a co-pay for the visit, while we have no co-pay for well child visits. they are covered at 100%, no co-pay. they became snotty about it when we mentioned that we do not have a co-pay.

Very nice. My son has a new doctor.
