Dr. Brenda Matti-Orozco, MD

Please do not to this doctor. I was told I was seeing a pain management doctor. Who canceled every time I was to see her. Wish now she kept canceling. She completely ignored and cut me off mid sentence. I have had numerous test in dictating problems in my back and nerve damage, e.g. MRIs, cat scans, emgs, ect. Test that her colleagues authorized indicating that she had access to them, I also have copies. She took me off meds and indicated that nothing was wrong with me. By the way withdrawals and pain have me suicidal, called her would not even get on phone. Horrible doctor and human.

As a medical professional I was called in to be the medical proxy for a family friend for a sad and difficult case. I was very disappointed at how Dr. Matti made herself entirely unavailable to the patient or others, even her medical colleagues, even when receiving urgent pages from the hospital. Her colleagues at her hospital tell me she has a poor interaction with patients and that my experience was not atypical.

Needs to have a different demeanor and attitude for the type of practice she has. Try someone else if you want to avoid heartbreak at a difficult stage in life.

I have been a patient of Dr. Matti for several years, but I most likely will be looking for another doctor...I trying to understand how anyone could work with sick people and be so rude.
