Dr. Brenden Neal Tu, MD

Dr. Brenden Tu has been my doctor for almost/over years at UC Davis Wellness Center, and he has been nothing but kind, patient, humble, detail-oriented about diagnosis if you ask him, and funny! I have nothing else to say about him besides you will not regret seeking him as your doctor! Thank you :)

My experience with Dr TU has been varied but overall informed my decision to seek care elsewhere. He can verge on condescension (which seems to be a rampant trait in SHCS care providers - perhaps because of their being overworked). Sometimes he is the picture of a good clinician. While I admire the taking on of grad students, his willingness to let them dictate clinical discourse has led me to get a wrong diagnosis not once - but twice. One instance in which I was refused antibiotics for an ear infection several times over. I now suffer permanent hearing loss.

When first meeting Dr. Yu I was referred to his offices for weekly INR (Coumadin Therapy). I found Dr. Tu to be a very approachable individual who genially cares about his patients. He will not talk down to you, nor does he provide an air of being impressed with himself. He will explain everything in great detail without looking at the clock as he takes the time and care to ensure that his patients fully understand the treatment they are receiving. In my opinion Dr. Tu, does put the Care in the phrase â??Health Careâ??. From my summation you will not be disappointed with the professional level of service and the genuine concern that Dr. Tu demonstrates.
