Dr. Brent Matthew Hintz, MD

Dr Hintz is a very straight forward man. He tells it as it is, gives you the most honest and direct answers possible. He has a way of making you feel comfortable. And when my son was born with complications during birth, Dr.Hintz made sure me and my son were taken care of while trying to keep me and my husband as calm as possible during a very tense situation. He is hands down the best doctor I have ever had. He will be the only OBGYN I ever go to. (His mid-wife was new to his practice during the middle of my pregnancy and I did not like her as much. She was too chatty and didn't have the touch of someone with 20+ years of experience like Dr.Hintz)

Dr. Hintz is a great OBGYN. He has not delivered any of my children, since I have not had any yet. I was 10 weeks pregnant with my first child and came in for my appointment. Dr. Hintz (who does his own ultrasounds) said, there was no heart beat, the baby was not forming right, and had stopped growing at 7/8 weeks. He was very understanding, and talked with my husband I after the ultrasound at length about what he thought happened (chromosomal issues), which are the cause of most miscarriages. We decided to go with a D & C instead of naturally miscarrying. I did not take any pain medication after leaving the hospital, and have had no issues after the D & C. I contribute this to my health, but mostly his expertise. I will continue to go to him, and hope to become pregnant again with a better outcome!

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hintz after hearing he was a great doctor, only to find he was very rude and disrespectful. My appointment was set up to be a consultation, so I could find a new OB in this area. His nurse was very short with me and not friendly at all. After explaining again why I was there and a bit of my history (which she had asked for) she states she was just going to bring the doctor in so I didn't have to explain everything twice (fine by me). Dr. Hintz walks in stone faced, and unfriendly, accuses me of "self-diagnosing", and very rudely tries to tell me I will not find a doctor around here who can treat me (completely not true). He was very disrespectful, in the mere 3 minutes I was in the room with him, and highly uneducated in modern medicine. After telling me I would have to go somewhere else, he walked out of the room and disappeared. If I could rate him zero stars I would. He is a disgrace to the medical field and to humans.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Hintz today. He had come highly recommended and I now know why. I have always used women doctors in the past, but I will be using Dr. Hintz from here on out. He made me feel so at ease and comfortable.

LOVED him!! He was the only doctor available who wasn't going to hand me off to another doctor during delivery and this was very important to me. He's very thorough as well in all of my appointments. He's very respected by a lot of the nurses and patients.

Love, Love, Love this doctor. He has delivered both my children and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
