Dr. Brent Tadayoshi Shoji, MD

My husband had early colon cancer surgery with Dr Shoji. We found him to be exceptional -- as a skilled and experienced surgeon and as a compassionate human being. It is rare to find both expertise and humanity in a doctor these days. Dr Shoji was in my husband's hospital room every morning by 6 a.m. We cannot thank him enough. We think so highly of him in all the ways that really matter. Throughout our experience, there wasn't one medical professional who did not say "he is the best" when hearing we were being cared for by Dr Shoji. My husband's outcome was excellent.

Dr Shoji was excellent from beginning to end. He listened well and answered all my questions. He surrounds himself with a wonderful surgical team and I felt completely informed. Good communication with office if help is needed after surgery-good followup. Would highly recommend.

Had 5 operations over the past 2 1/2 years and the last two have been by Dr. Shoji. His care, concern, bedside manner, expertise and time he devotes to explaining and understanding your situation is phenomenal! He is my surgeon of choice if I ever need one again and hopefully I won't!! Also his office manager is second to none as she is a major part of his successful practice.
