Dr. Brent Drew Sloten

Beware, they will try to commit insurance fraud by double dipping with payments, Carolyn will bill insurance the full cost and then tell the patient that they have to cover the full cost since insurance refused to pick it up. The AG has been notified.

I like Dr Sloten immensely. He has a great personality and always explains what he's doing. He tries to make it all as pain-free as possible. He's very thorough. BUT - his office in Mesa is shabby and looks like it hasn't been updated since the 1970's. His staff totally sucks. Unprofessional, look like they came in off the street, don't know how to handle anything. The one nurse, Carolyn, has been rude/disrespectful to me twice. I like the Dr but will not return to him.

Dr Sloten is very nice but his office staff is awful. You cannot get appointments and they DO NOT RETURN VOICEMAILS OR CARE ABOUT YOU!!!! I have left MANY messages and no help. I have been his patient for over 5 years. I'd wouldn't use him because of his TERRIBLE STAFF!!!!

Dr. Sloten is nice however he becomes sloppy when explaining information. Do not see him too early in the morning or he might either bump into you or spill his coffee on you. His office staff is unprofessional and they often do not know the answer to simple questions pertaining to billing, insurance, or medication. They usually state that someone will call back, but nobody ever does. I usually have to be the one to call or visit their office (in person) to get my answers. A few times I had to call my insurance company to help/assist Dr. Sloten's staff. I do not recommend him.

Doctor Sloten is awesome. Billing is a mess. They file insurance claims incorrectly, won't return calls, and when you try to talk to the office personnel, they send you to a mouthy office manager who talks over you and yells at you.

I have had excellent experiences with Dr. Sloten as a provider. He is caring and professional. The wait time is minimal, however, dealing with the staff over either a billing/insurance problem or a prescription problem is horrible. The best description I can give of the support staff services is that it is non-existent, rude, and why are you bothering me.

Dr Sloten is really great.. I had a problem that went on for over 5 years and multiple Doctors; As soon as he walked into the room he knew knew the condition I had, the Diagnosis and treatment. He even did a Biopsy to confirm the Diagnosis and put my mind at ease. I would recommend Dr Sloten to anyone that wanted to get the best care and treatment. He now sees my entire family and is great with my little ones.
