Dr. Brett Shannon Bilbrey, MD

Dr. Bilbery is the kind of doctor I have sent years searching for. He takes the time to get to know you. One thing I really liked about him was his good memory. I don't know about you, but I don't like going to a doctor who questions you about your past visits with him...instead of at least looking over your chart before walking into the room. He's isn't your average arrogant doctor...he's warm and friendly! He isnâ??t afraid to say he doesnâ??t know somethingâ?¦yes you want a doctor that knows everything, but guess what they donâ??t! Most of them will give you a generic medication and hope it works. Dr. Bilbery will find out and get to the bottom of things right along with you. That means a lot to meâ?¦I want a doctor I can trust to really take care of me. Dr. Bilbery is understanding and willing to go the extra mile to find out what is your underlying issues. He doesn't want to treat your symptoms...he wants to treat your illness.

I live locally, and have had a health condition that my prior physicians did not accurately diagnose, mostly because they didn't take the time to listen. Word of mouth is the best advertising, and I asked my friends who could figure out my problems. Dr. Bilbrey had glowing reviews from my friends, and even a few family members I had no idea that were patients. He took the time to address my issues. He showed genuine interest in my health and my life, and he assured me that he would not stop until we both came to understand what was making me feel so bad. When I have something simple, he addresses it quickly and makes sure to answer my questions. When I am very sick, he takes extra time with me, no matter how busy he may be. I truly believe that Dr Bilbrey has a very unique talent as an excellent physician with excellent skills relating to people. He apparently does no advertising, and I am blessed to hear about him by word of mouth. This is why I chose to write this review.
