Dr. Brian Q Beitel, MD

I have never had such a demeaning doctor before. This is my first pregnancy and let alone my first OB doctors appointment with him at 20 weeks. I had one scheduled but he canceled it. Then I couldn’t get ahold of the office for a whole week. At the appointment he talked to me like I was asking, for lack of better words, not smart questions. As if I had been pregnant before or was an actual OB myself and knew. They were rude and sarcastic almost I don’t care responses… When I was worried about these questions, especially being 20 weeks and finally having an appointment. He ended this appointment with, “nice to meet you and good forbid go get your toes done”. I broke down crying in the office after he walked out. I felt like I got no answers or help. I immediately walked out and changed my OB to someone else before continuing with him.

This guy made comments to my girlfriend about her not shaving her legs or vagina before coming in for her appointment. And then he proceeded to tell her she “robbed the cradle” because she is older than me. Unless you enjoy these type of comments while you’re vulnerable at your appointment I wouldn’t recommend him.

Condescending, arrogant, sarcastic. Unwilling to recognize that a patient may know her own body. Disregards concerns to the detriment of the patient.

Finally someone who helped my condition. Took years to find him. Hope he stays around.

I am currently working on switching to a new physician. Within the first 40 seconds with Dr. Beitel, my husband and I knew he wasn't going to be a good match for us during this pregnancy. He isn't very personable and dismissed all of my questions and concerns in a very condescending manner. Perhaps we caught him on a bad day but I don't really care to stick around to see if it gets any better.

Would highly recommend Dr. Beitel. Very glad I found him myself he delivered my son and took care of my follow up visits. I was very happy with his care and don't have a single complaint.

Very bad bedside manner always in a hurry. Staff is horrible I had important paper work they messed up twice. Last visit I had he didn't want to check me because he said he was tired of looking at vaginas all day. I'm very far along pregnant and was very angry about this it's his job. I still had him check me but had to ask him to he always goes around questions I ask him and dosnt give me strait answers which is very frustrating for a new mom. Definitely would not recommend

I had an awesome visit. This doctor took time to discuss my issues and the procedure he was going to perform in a way that I could understand. He followed up with my results sooner than he told me he would. I appreciate that. My family and I were very worried as we waited.

This is my first pregnancy and I have a lot of concerns, which only grow with each appointment. I am getting more information from online access than from my OB/GYN.

I have been Dr. Beitel's patient since 2006 during my 2nd pregnancy. I was a single mom and he was so good to me and my 4 year old who came to most of my appointments. He has always been very caring and professional. His staff is great and I almost never wait more than maybe a few minutes. I would definitely recommend him!!!!!
