Dr. Brian Christopher Kelley, MD

Dr. Kelley doesn't give much time to his patients, he's not to interested in what you have to say. He did a spine surgery on me and put 47 staples right down the spine, so I couldn't lean back on anything for 3-4 weeks. Stitches would have been a better alternative, but he is only interested in speed. I pointed this out to him and he wasn't happy with me. When I needed a spine injection after that, his office will not return my calls, so I am looking for a REAL doctor now. You have been warned!!!

They have always been very professional

Please do not be fooled by this so called 'doctor' who is incompetent and totally unprofessional. He wanted to put a spinal cord stimulator in me. After talking to many doctor friends I decided to go to the Neurosurgical Group of Texas in Houston. My neurosurgeon in Houston, after I told him what this idiot Kelley wanted to do said, "Absolutely not, absolutely not". He then went on to tell me why this wasn't the path I should take. Brian Kelley and his accomplice Crookshank are after one thing.......MONEY! They'll do things to you that are not medically necessary just to make a buck. PLEASE DO NOT let Kelley touch you! Give Houston a try, you won't be disappointed!

I can't really say I had a negative or positive experience because there wasn't really much interaction between us. He rushed in and rushed out and left his nurse practitioner to explain what I felt he should have told me. He was honest about his level of expertise and was quick to send me to Houston for a second opinion. Just wish he would have stuck around for me to gather my thoughts and allowed me to ask questions before he left.

Dear Dr. Kelley, The Lord Bless you and Keep you in your endeavors. You recently performed two craniotomies on my mother which saved her life. Your bedside manner, along with your medical expertise is exceptional; Your kindness, gentleness and attentiveness towards my mother is greatly appreciated. My mother was a walking miracle due to her head injury, which she had sustained many days prior to her admittance to your surgery. Thank-you for being there when she arrived at the hospital. Worst experience. Doctor did not follow up with me. Saw nurse every time I had an appointment. Doctor only made a very appearance a couple times. Did not follow up with any tests he ordered, including nerve conduction test and last MRI. Last appointment, he briefly stopped by while I was seeing the nurse to say he no longer had my medical records so he ordered a second MRI which he never followed up on. He didn’t know who I was or why I was there. This was due to him no long having my medical records and me having to see the nurse instead of the doctor every appointment. This was a complete WASTE of my TIME and MONEY. CANNOT RECOMMEND this doctor and staff.

I've had bad experiences in the past with surgeons. Dr. Kelley restored my faith that there are doctors out there that still care about the patient. He made sure I knew exactly what to expect before, during, and after my surgery. Ive had 20 surgeries in the last 18 years, and he's one of the top surgeons I've meet.

Great patient care. Does a good job explaining difficult issues. Technical skill is tops.

Makes you feel like the only patient in the hospital.
