Today I had knee surgery with Dr. Neri. So happy I went to see him for a second opinion. He is caring and compassionate. GREAT SURGEON. If I could rate him more than five stars I would. Thank you Dr. Neri you are the best. I would recommend him to family and friends.

Went to see Dr. Neri for a second opinion on my knee. He made me feel very comfortable. Explained to me what needs to be done. Very caring and compassionate. I will recommend family and friends.

We took my daughter for a second opinion on her knee, Dr Neri office took us in right away,we were basically in and out of the office with in 1 hour. Dr Neri spent plenty of time with us and answered all our questions and concerns. I highly recommend him.

I have seen Dr. Neri now for three years, and would recommend him. He did my acl surgery, and explained everything in detail before and after. Two years later, he still shows the same care on that surgically repaired knee and gives thoughtful diagnoses. Doctor visits can be stressful, but being a patient here has been a pleasure, when compared to other ortho doctors I had seen in previous years. Thankful for this practice.

Failed in providing any valid diagnosis; failed to examine my injury; failed to deliver any recommendation; failed to review x-rays he ordered; failed me in every way. He was dismissive, arrogant, mean, condescending and downright terrible. The office is a disaster with long waits and poor communication. Couldn't find a seat in the waiting area. They wouldn't provide me with my records in a timely manner either.

Dr. Neri has been head ortho for NY Islanders for years, excellent surgeon and gives very honest opinion...known to be very good with physical exam and disgnosis.

I hoped to stay on LI for care of an upper extremity injury following a crash, and Neri completely blew me off. Ignored all of my symptoms and failed to even evaluate the areas of pain. Hinted that I was faking the problem and did not have the radiating pain and numbness I presented to him. Drs. MUST listen to their patients. We know our bodies best. He ordered no xray or other diagnostic tests. Seriously, would anyone wast their time sitting for an hour in a dr's office if they were not truly hurt and very concerned about their health? Turns out I did in fact have a major problem, which was thankfully detected by drs in NYC who all concurred that I was a surgical case. The office is a disaster. Disrespectful and incompetent staff. Try getting a copy of your records. What a joke. It's a circus in the office with limited and cramped seating to boot. The whole ordeal was a waste of time. I do not recommend him or this practice. For serious and complex cases, definitely head to… Manhattan or Stony Brook.

After having shoulder surgery, I read injured the same arm again. Was told by Dr. Neri I needed surgery again. Admittedly I woke up from the anesthesia, and was definitely agitated. talk to Neri then told me that I may have an undiagnosed psychiatric condition. He now refuses to even return my calls.

Went to him for a bad shoulder. Said I needed to have it replaced which I eventually will have too. Every follow-up visit he would push for me to have the replacement. Told him I wasn't ready yet but he kept insisting. Couldn't take his pressure for a shoulder replacement so I switched doctors.
