Poor customer service and he is sharing an office with an Urgent Care. I had to wait 45 minutes before the doctor saw me and during my visit he looked like he was on a rush.

I had arthroscopic knee surgery for a torn meniscus with this guy. First thing out of his mouth to my wife after surgery at surgical center was: "well, there was more damage/tearing to the meniscus than the MRI revealed". Ok. I saw him one week after surgery and out of his mouth comes: "well, there was more damage to the meniscus than the MRI showed. Let's see how things go as there are other surgeries I can do". Fact is, he didn't take the time, perhaps the extra time to thoroughly address the tear(s), the debris and the debridement needed to complete the procedure as needed or warranted. My "Do Over" would have been to question him directly as to why he didn't do the needed work the first time around. Shortly thereafter I had another arthroscopic procedure performed by another Ortho. Surgeon as the rehab and resultant stability of the knee was never achieved. The second surgery resulted in much better rehab and stability of the knee, this was 9 years ago ...

I went to see this Dr for a racquetball injury to the shoulder. He did nothing to help me heal it - essentially just gave me a cordizone shot and that was it. Felt like he wanted me in/out just to get my payment.

My case was a very complicated one; I had previously had (by a different surgeon) a complete left leg salvage reconstruction. I began having severe knee pain and motion restrictions. I went for a consultation and then on a recommendation I saw Dr. Bruce Albert for a second opinion. After a thorough examination and very detailed and specific answers to all of my questions and concerns, surgery was scheduled and successfully completed. The pain was addressed and range of motion established. Dr. Albert was very forthcoming with information, possible complications, and recognized my uneasiness over surgery. He was very sensitive and supportive prior to and after the surgery was complete.If there was ever a need for any follow-up consultations I would certainly return to Dr. Bruce Alberts care.
