Dr. Bruce Michael Freedman, MD

You know the review is real and the doctor is stellar when a patient leaves a positive review even when the surgery to repair and re-attached their finger did not take and had to be surgically removed. Sure, I would prefer to have my finger. However, I am confident that it is not the doctor's fault as to why my body did not accept my finger surgery. He is meticulous with his words and work. He walked through each step with me to ensure that I was well cared for during the entire 45 day process.

If you have an emergency--like I did, at Reston Hospital--and you need a plastic surgeon, you'll be lucky if Dr. Friedman is on call. I cut my head open in a bicycle accident, and Dr. Friedman did a superb job of stitching my scalp (50 stitches), a nerve, and other tissue back together. He talked to me constantly while working, soothing my worried mind and distracting me from the residual pain (reduced by the local anaesthetic & oral painkillers). It's been over six months since the accident, and you can't even tell where the cut was. I would highly recommend Dr. Freedman for any plastic surgery you might need. He's had a wealth of experience, is conversant with all the latest techniques, and is an extremely skilled and compassionate doctor.

I would not recommend this doctor for any cosmetic procedures.

I had Dr. Freedman's undivided and enthusiastic attention right up until I paid the bill for a procedure. But about three days later, once it was evident that I was experiencing a complication, he was markedly less enthusiastic about me and put me off not once, but twice. Unfortunately for me, what went wrong was on my face and his expectation was that I would go to work and carry on my life for a week with a very obvious disfigurement until he could squeeze me in five days after my initial frantic message. Fortunately, I found another physician who understood the imperative of fixing what went wrong. I'm back to normal, but think twice about a surgeon who loses interest when a procedure goes wrong.

I had an excellent experience working with Dr. Freedman and his staff. They were always on time, very courteous and put my mind at ease every step of the way. Instructions were very clear and they were always prompt to provide responses to my inquiries. I would highly recommend working with Dr. Freedman and his highly skilled team!

Dr. Freedman did a carpal tunnel release on my hand. His staff got me an initial appointment quickly. Dr. Freedman thoroughly explained the procedure and the recovery, and surgery was scheduled in a timeframe that met my needs. I've met with Dr. Freedman twice since the surgery (which was successful--the pain is gone!), and he has carefully explained exactly what he did during the surgery and the post-surgery healing process and answered all of my questions. Dr. Freedman and his staff have been wonderful to work with, and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I made my appointment for facial concerns and was asked to undress and the doctor said it was for a skin cancer check. I do that with my dermatologist, who I am sure is more qualified. I do look younger than my same age friends, but wanted a bit of a eye lift and maybe some filler. The doctor suggested a face lift and a product I have never heard of that he said is the newest and best thing. I told him I just wanted the eyes done and instead of addressing that he said that I obviously keep myself in shape and that I look like a runner (I am a former ballet dancer) and then invited me to his home as he was "hosting his running group". I don't think it is appropriate to invite your patients to your home. I left and had my procedure with Dr. Bennet Yang in Potomac and I could not be happier that I did.

Everyone has own experience. Mine was bad. I had BELOTERO injections into tear troughs. After a month of severe bruising I am left with huge bags under the yes and bluish discoloration under one eye. Was at the office once after a two weeks, theoctor started to do massage, that was suposed to be done right after injections, not after two weeks. nothing helped and my eyes are disfigured. During my visit the doctor was too talkative and not very attentive, tried to promote his new procedure...After that the office never called back

Dr. Freedman completely botched my liposuction. His poor work left me rippled and unsightly. He refused to acknowledge his poor workmanship and blamed the skin reattachment on the fact that I had not followed after care instructions properly. He a regularly sexually approaches his patients and has been sued mutiple times for malpractice. Stay far away from Dr. Freedman

I interviewed three other physicians before choosing Dr. Freedman. He did upper eyelids and bags, as well as lipo of my neck. The results are amazing. While he and the other doctors recommended a lower facelift, I was not ready for it. I now have eyelids! I also no longer have a double chin. I may at some point decide to have my face surgically tightened, but for now I look good for someone nearing 60. I highly recommend Dr. freedman. Also, I had three free consults with him to discuss what I wanted done....not sure how many other doctors would have been as understanding or as willing to listen to what I wanted. Very pleased with him and his office.
