Dr. Bruce Joseph Langner, MD

Saw Dr Langer once. He and his crazy wife office manager were arguing the entire time I was in his office, which seemed like an eternity. They billed my insurance incorrectly. Instead of fixing their mistake put me in collection. Wont answer phone. Theyre unprofessional and a bit wacko'-ish. Do not go there.

Dr. Langner is good but will keep you in the office for at least 2 or 3 hours going over information he has found on the internet. His wife , who is the office manager is clearly only after the money.money, money ... put me in collections over $50.00. meanwhile he bills Medicare over $500.00.

Very rude staff. Unprofessional. Insists everyone has adhd. Was tolerable when he had different staff. Poor time management.

Dr. Langner was my gastroenterologist for over 10 years before I moved out of state. I sorely miss him as he was the best doctor I ever had. I frequented doctors early in life due to chronic pains in my intestinal area. It was only when I was admitted to Monmouth Medical Center that I met Dr. Langner and he diagnosed my problem as Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Many years later he diagnosed me with Barrett's esophagus, a pre-cancerous condition. I had the disease ablated and happy to report a clean bill of health. This man is an excellent doctor and I wish I could meet someone close to him in Virginia. He is a great communicator and quickly gains your trust since he is very caring and listens to your concerns before he explains your condition and the options you have for treatment. He always calmed my fears with his expert advice. He always made me feel I was visiting a friend for advice. That is how comfortable he made me feel. Wish I was able to find someone in Virginia as… competent.

Rude staff need customer service training went elsewhere after trying to set up appointment.

Spends a lot of time but discusses things outside his field. Gives ADHD test he prints off internet. It's his diagnosis and he tries to make it yours. Also asked what other complaints I might have. Told him knee hurts. Sent me for ct scan. Made me come in for results just to tell new to see orthopedic. I didn't need to take off work for that. I could have been told over phone. Also never returns phone call. Any question requires another visit. I don't get that many personal days. Couldn't keep going back every two weeks just to be asked how I was feeling. Came in with problem. It was addressed. I got better. Leave me alone until I need you again. Mostly I couldn't get past not calling back. Why should I come back in because I want to ask a question about medicine? Ridiculous.
