Doctor was able to get me in after being referred by my sister in law. I thought I had a bad wound but it turns out it was just a dermatitis type issue. I did have a dermatology appointment a month later and he stated "that is to long" They called a Dermatologist they knew. Got me in right away and did not charge me for the visit. Yes, they did not charge me and went the extra mile to help me.

a remarkable kind, caring, brilliant physician I am also a physician and Dr. Ruben's patient. I do send my patients to him and his treatment is beyond reproach. I highly recommend him

Dr. Ruben and his staff are absolutely Top Notch. The care that I received from each person at Encompass was truly 2nd to None. Dr. Ruben went above and beyond to make sure that my wound was treated properly, including a procedure that he performed late in the afternoon on a Sunday! The attention that I received by each person at Encompass addressed my individual needs in a manner that was warm and encouraging. Encompass is a place where the care provided for the patients is only exceeded by how much the staff cares about the people they treat. Dr. Ruben is a Special Doctor, and Encompass is a one of a kind facility for wound care. I cannot recommend them enough!

A couple of the infectious Drs I saw were clearly trying to profit of off IV antibiotics which in my case I feel would certainly have not resolved the problem In addition to being one of those money seeking Drs, he also poked and prodded me in ways that caused tremendous pain- again I feel that was not necessary. Another ID Dr I saw spoke ill of Dr Ruben also. I can see clearly why that is, and thankful I did not go forward with Dr Rubens treatment as it would have painful, potentially harmful, and I don’t think it would have addressed the problem properly

I received excellent care from Dr. Ruben and his staff, I strongly recommend his practice.

Dr. Ruben is excellent. My family drove 5 hours to see him and consult with him about my husband's mrsa infection. Dr Ruben " my consultation ends when you want it to end." Caring, extraordinary doctor.

Dr. Ruben was able to resolve all my bladder issues, I saw 2 urologists who were unable to help me. So happy I found this place!

Dr. Ruben listens carefully and shows concern for both the patient's physical and emotional well-being.

Dr. Ruben and his staff provided outstanding care and compassionate support as I was recovering from a septic knee after replacement surgery. Although his office was a 45 min. drive away, the care I received was worth the distance traveled. I recommend him to anyone requiring Infectious Disease care.
