Dr. Bruce Samuel Solomon, MD

Dr. Solomon was very professional and congenial. He was on time and explained my condition and our plan for the future very succinctly. He answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed or hurried. I’ve read some of the negative reviews about Dr. Solomon and I find it hard to believe that we’re talking about the same doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Solomon for many years. He has always been kind, attentive and patient with my questions and is thorough in his examinations. I appreciate his work.

He's very thorough and takes his time with me when I have an appointment. Answers every question. He has been very helpful.

I have been seeing him since last year was a little gruff at the start but I started to joke with him he loosened up. now we a a good rapport his treatment is working for Parkinson's hope he stays around for awhile.

WENT TO HIM FOR 4 YEARS- WHEN I TRANSFERRED DRS. AND ASKED FOR COPY OF MY MEDICAL RECORDS---HE DIDN'T HAVE DOWN TREATMENTS/MEDICATIONS ETC HE HAD ORDERED- 15 PAGES OG GENERIC INFO; ALSO LOST MY PREVIOUS RECORDS I HAD TRANSFERRED TO HIM HARD COPY; ALSO SPENDS 10 MINUTES WITH YOU AND MOVES YOU THROUGH CONVEYOR LINE!!!

Do not waste your time and money seeing this rude, arrogant, uncaring, narcassitic sorry excuse for a human. As a young mother with MS, I was met with pure horror. After a brief discussion of my history with MS, Solomon, headed for the door, saying he would not be my neurologist. When I asked why? He responded 'because we wouldn't get along.' What??!? He left me in the cold with no direction or advise or explanation for his actions. I left in tears as the rude staff watched me with hideous smirks on their faces. I wouldn't allow him to treat my dog. What a disgusting excuse for a human being. Not to mention he took my money and charged my insurance company for nothing.

Misdiagnosed MS for 10 years despite multiple red flags and MS diagnosis from hospitalist. Arrogant, , dismissive and patronizing. Told me he would stick with me til we got to source of problems. As symptoms worsened he became defensive and would not teturn calls or make follow up appt. Saw another neurologist who is MS specialist who called it correctly after seeing one MRI. At the very least a neurologist should be able to read an MRI.

You have your five minutes so use them well cause you will quickly be ushered out like you are on an assembly line. I have never had a doctor be so uncaring and patronizing a and I really try to be a good patient. Bottom line, he cannot read an MRI. I was hospitalized for a serious neurological event. He was treating me for migraines and trigeminal neuralgia at the time but did not even see me in the hospital, just saw him walk by my room. Hospitalist looked at my MRI and tests said I had MS. Solomon looked at MRI and said "No way" . I spent several years seeing specialists in other fields to diagnose increasingly painful and debilitating symptoms and spent quite a while in a wheelchair. Many red flags for MS. I asked him several times about MS and he blew me of. He said he would stick by me during this search but would not return my calls. Finally found a nationally known neurologist who specializes in MS. He took one look at my MRIs and medical records and said I had had MS for a… long time, possibly up to 15 years. I have lost valuable time while I could have received treatment. This is only my story. I don't have the right to share others about him, but be warned. I gave him one star because he has a nice staff.

I`ve been going to Dr.Solomon for 10 years,in my opinion he is a Great doctor,one that I would Highly recommend,I think his joking is his way of trying to break the ice.He knows what he is doing. The one and only problem I have with this office,is the staff at the front door,they can be very rude,and turn your away,also the billing dept.She can be rude too...............But overall Dr.Solomon is one of the best doctors in NC

If you want a doctor who does a brief exam, writes you a script and gives you a quick push out the door in 5 minutes, he's your guy. I try to be prepared with succinct questions because he does not like questions. Was visibly annoyed when I did not improve with his treatment. Gave me a medication without knowing a common side effect that messed me up pretty bad for months. Another doc quickly determined the problem. He appears very indifferent and preoccupied. I have often heard "I'll get back with you in a week about this." Never Ever happened. No response from staff or from him on basic questions or problems and I have only called twice in six years. Follow up is nonexistent The only positive is that I never have to wait because he seems determined to keep to his scheduled time per patient. But I won't be waiting anymore anyway. Enough. Never had this problem with a doctor.
