Dr. Bruno R Mazza, MD

Luann was extremely rude, unprofessional, and needs an attitude adjustment. As a professional, I would expect another professional to be just that, professional. Luann was definitely less than pleasant when asking “what do you need”? There certainly are better ways to deal with the public. If she talks to medical professionals like this, then how does she talk to patients?

First of all I’ve Been a Patient of Dr. Mazza’s For over 30 years. I have received the utmost Professional service from Dr. Mazza and his truly Professional Staff. If you or someone you know who is afflicted with anything Gastrointestinal, this is the Office you want to get ahold of ... 5 Stars for this office ??

Even though I told him at least seven times to stop during the procedure he continued to force my colonoscopy on me due to him not having time to sedate me. Worst expect ever and he should have his license to practice medicine revoked!!!!!

Horrible Doctor. Has no good bedside manners, talks so fast you can't understand him and jumps from subject to subject. Hands you information instead of properly understanding your diagnosis. And it's sad he is the only gi practice here in Elmira. Never again will I let him practice on me. Go to someone else, even if it's out of town, trust me you will be in better hands!

Dr. Massa is an excellent physician and saved my wife's life!

While I think Dr. Mazza is overall a good doctor his front office staff are absolutley terrible. Numerous times I called them to ask about a prescription during business hours and no one answered the phone. I got a recording stating if it were an emergency to go to the emergency room. When they did finally answer the phone they were rude and absolutley no help at all. I finally had to leave this office and find a new doctor so I could get prescription refills without fighting the front office staff for them.

I would recommend Dr. Mazza for people with diabetes experiencing stomach muscle neuropathy. He has helped me greatly getting away from another medicine I had been on for over 20 years that was effective but caused secondary Parkinson disease. He is a straight shooter and genuinely cares about helping people. He does a nice job at doing the upper GI also. I was comfortable and it was no big deal.

The time spent waiting for Dr. Mazza or Sam - PA was 1 hours & 45 miutes. This happend three time!!!!This is unacceptable. My wait for the procedure at Dt. joseph's hosputal was 45 minutes. I WAS ON EARLY and prepared all four times. The staff is so unpleasent. I will NEVER got there again. I felt I was the least thing on thier minds. The new office is a mess, clean up your offices. A good dusting in the Video room would be a wonderful idea.

I called Doctor Mazza's office to have the bill waived since nobody bothered to call me back. The office staff was extremely rude and yelled at me saying that we provided the service we don't do consults for free otherwise we wouldn't make any money. I continued to explain the lack of treatment and care on their part to no end. Finally, the lady on the line told me she should would have the doctor call me and let him decide what to do. Surprisingly, like my experiences I never received a phone call. I received a collection notice for the bill a short time later. Once again, I tried to work with the office to no avail. According to the billing staff I received a service, I have to pay, they under no obligation to schedule an appointment for a procedure. I got the impression that they would rather do consults only instead of actual procedures.
