Dr. Bryan Todd Hanypsiak, MD

I heard good things about Hanypsiak, but my experience was just awful! I am a patient man and I do not like criticizing people, but this is simply insanity. -This guy somehow lost my operative report for almost THREE MONTHS and so, he had a difficult time explaining precisely what he did during the procedure. This also meant that my physical therapist tried multiple times to get this report to NO avail. How is that even possible in this day and age? -I show up to my followup appt and the ladies haphazardly tell me the doc missed his flight, waisting more of my time. -I go to the new followup and this guy has me waiting for TWO HOURS! I ask the receptionist what the issue is and, oh, she now tells me that he's had two emergencies this morning! OH, and you didn't think it would be wise to share this news with your office filled with patients?! NOPE! Take your time to investigate all aspects of your surgeon. Don't allow this man to waste your time or lose your patience.

I had Rotator Cuff surgery on my right shoulder in 2019 and have been in major pain ever since. I was given a follow up appointment a few weeks later and was told that I could drive and start physical therapy the next week, which I did, and that I didn’t need to return to his office anymore. It is now 2023, almost 4 years later and my pain has only gotten worse! I have no use of my left arm and can’t use right one as I still have major cramps in the reattached bicep and severe pain in the right shoulder. Covid canceled physical therapy and although I did my exercises at home I’m a bit upset that my pain is worse! Wish I’d never had the surgery!

Dr. Hanypsiak is a kind caring knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon. He help me with major shoulder surgery as well as my rehabilitation. Dr. Hanypsiak was referred to me by my Long Island doctor, and I was not disappointed. I would recommend him to anyone who needs his specialties.

Outstanding surgeon in all aspects of one's orthopedic needs. He has performed a number of procedures on several of our family members, all with excellent results. He most recently did a reverse shoulder replacement for me again with excellent results. He is a caring and attentive Dr. with tremendous skill and a great bedside demeanor. He is highly regarded with high recommendations.

Dr. Hanypsiak is always wonderful! He makes it a point to walk you through each procedure. He's helped both me and my parents through procedures and surgeries and has always done a phenomenal job.

He did Emergency hip surgery. A complication followed within a week and he was impossible to communicate with for consult and follow up. When he finally did come to the hospital 4 days later, he was arrogant and lacked compassion.

Dr. Brian was thorough and asked if I had any questions.

Dr is knowledgable, good bedside manner and great reputation.

Wish all Doctors were like him.He has the best staff. And takes the time to listen.Love this Doctor!

Personable physician and staff. Doing great after my proximal hamstring repair. Was not fun but appreciated the upfront honesty about restriction post op and what to expect. Only issue was with ineffective post op dressing. Staff helped resolve questions.
