Dr. Bryan William Rubach, MD

I went with Dr Rubach in 2021 for a rhinoplasty. I told him and showed him very specifically what I was looking for. Immediately after removing my nose castings, I noticed a bump on the side of my nose that has never been there before and nostrils two different shapes. Also my nose still not really how I wanted it to be. I received multiple steroid injections in my nose to reduce the swelling, yet the bump remained. I was told this was scar tissue and if I wanted a revision, I’d need to pay for it. While my side profile has improved, I now dislike my frontal profile. I felt he really didn’t listen to what I specifically wanted and just did what he felt was best. Very disappointed.

Dr. Rubach is hands-down the best facial/EMT surgeon and I am so glad I did my research with various consultations nationwide. I am 1 month post op and already ecstatic with my results. Had I gone to anyone else, quite frankly, my life could have been ruined. Your nose is the focal point of your face. God was truly looking out for me when I found Dr. Rubach. I want to mention: the first few weeks are very scary due to swelling. It WILL subside. It’s very easy to analyze this swelling as the final result. It IS true that it takes months and longer for the final result. TRUST in the process of healing and don’t risk your face.. choose the best surgeon. I wish I would have done this surgery years ago.

Dr. Rubach, I can't say enough about how he goes up and beyond. The staff is also amazing and I continue at age 60 to get compliments. Always looking natural. If having surgery they will accommodate as many follow up appointments as needed. They have a schedule and take before and after pictures. He has made my jawline and eyes younger as he is a master and very skilled. He makes long term relationships and when my nose started to shift with age he totally understood what I needed. He is always versed on the latest technology including moving offices to better serve his clients. Skin changes with ages and his staff is top notch with BBL ( LOVE) and Halo ( love this on my chest area as I had some damage and texture) and Cool Sculpt is great for those who work out and have stubborn fat. BBL combined with halo has taken years off my skin from prior sun damage. Julie one of the aestheticians has 20 years experience and is outstanding on her knowledge of skin care and aging skin.… They schedule and consulation with her to talk about my needs and options prior to a treatment. They do not over sell. They are here as professionals to help. It is important to have someone well trained work on you. Another favorite is Jill with botox/ fillers is an expert. She knows her stuff and takes minimalist approach. They will not do a procedure of you do not need it. There is also a separate Doctor for lower body if that is what you need. That is great as they are experts at what they do. Dr. Rubach also was leading Dr at Rush hospital in emergency facial reconstruction surgery for years. He is one of a kind. I also want add the staff up front who greet and schedule are amazing and really listen and try to get you the appointment you need. MY SKIN HAS NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD. Aging is hard and to have an office that you can go to that understands. They are there for the client. I found this site when on google and had to write this review as I have been going to this office for 7 years with all my concerns met with great solutions. I have also sent many referrals as I am asked about my skin. This is something I am proud of. If you are looking for a top surgeon who cares this is the place. Dr. Rubach has low staff turnover because of his dedication and high ethical standards.

I had a Halo Laser and BBL skin treatment at Dr Rubachs office in Naperville.Too much energy and heat were used and I am suffering the horrible consequences. My facwe and skin have been damaged due to operator error and I now have to deal with my face having destroyed collagen and elasticity from the severe burn. Dr Rubach takes zero responsibility for the harm done to me. I will have to spend thousands of dollars to try to correct the damage done to my face. It is so sad to me to see so many others have had the same experience with him. I wish I had seen some of these reviews before I went to his office. It makes me Ill thatr a doctor takes no responsibility or has no compassion when his patients suffer injury or bad results from procedures done in his office. I believe one of the fundamentals of being a doctor is, "Do no harm"' Please be aware of this before seeking treatment in his practice.

I wish I would have done more research prior to choosing this doctor. The poor reviews on here are accurate. This doctor cares about one thing — separating your from your money and then disappearing when there’s any sign of trouble. He completely botched a routine surgery and then abandons you when there’s a serious issue because he knows he can get away with it.

Had major surgery with Dr. Rubach and am left with an uneven chin and a scar that is off center. He knew I was miserable and that I felt totally helpless. He basically wrote me off as a head case and felt I’d never be happy. He’s wrong, as I am only unhappy with my uneven chin and scar that looks crooked. They never called me for my final appointment, likely knowing I wasn’t happy and realizing there was nothing that could be done. I think perhaps it’s as good as it gets, so why bother, but this result is far from good and anyone looking at me straight on can see it. For the last year, I’ve gone back and forth between being angry about it and then feeling sad at the finality of the result. I’ve tried to accept it and move on, but I’ll never be the same. Perhaps if I knew he cared or acknowledged my feelings and could admit the poor result does exist, maybe it would help, I don’t know. All I know is it was a lot of money to pay to feel awful. A lot of money to pay to see a photo… of yourself and cry. A lot of money to feel worse than before the surgery. I spoke with a family member tonight who said they would help me start researching another doctor, perhaps a female with more compassion, who could repair what has been done. She said I can’t keep going through life feeling this way. I am terrified at the thought of going through all of this again, but more upset at the thought of feeling the way I do for the rest of my life. A friend and I were talking about all of this tonight and as we were looking up reviews, I came across this site and thought I would finally share my experience. I haven’t done so until now, not sure why. I don’t want to complain, especially about something like this, but perhaps it will cause someone else to take a pause and do some more research before putting their face in Dr. Rubach’s hands. Dr. Rubach specializes in NOSES. I wish I had done a lot more research, as I might not be writing this review or feeling the way I do when I look in the mirror.

I received a negative outcome from my procedure from Dr Rubock and his staff.

I've gone to this doctor for the last 2.5 years mainly because I haven't been able to find a replacement. I went to him initially with filler from a previous doctor because I didn't like the shape. He never recommended dissolving the filler I already had. I explained to him what I wanted and he just put an entire 1cc of Jevederm XC in. It overfilled past my lips. I kept coming back because I liked the overall shape and the result nearly 8-10 months after. I discussed with him the filler "bump" over my left lip and rather than *again* recommending dissolving it, he recommends Belotero to create better Angel bow, lip border, and to fill in the area above lip to make it look less obvious. This time around I asked to have filler dissolved in the upper lip and on the inside of the lip because I had filler bubbles from improperly placed filler. Two sessions later, it's dissolved. I specifically told him I only want Jevederm XC yet he convinced me Vollure will give better results. He used… nearly the entire 1cc syringe in the top lip only. A day later, several bruises above my lip, the lips have nearly zero show of filler and on the part where he dissolved the "bubble" I have a lift like there is nothing there...there is nearly no filler left to fix or redo. There is never accountability when I approach him about any of this and he blames it on that all people are different (even though I've shown him a California doctor who gets amazing results from one Jevederm XC 1cc syringe). It's absurd. I kept going mainly because I liked his Botox work but the last time I had to double up on my regular 30 units, 2 months after it was done and all he said was, "I put it in last time not too deep." Ok, but now I'm paying over $600 total within 4 months for something that you decided for me didn't need to be done "deep enough" and yet I was still charged full price. I don't know where the rewards come from or the great reviews. I blame myself not knowing any better way too late and not knowing how to confront a doctor about what seems to be a total rip-off and unethical patient preying.

DO NOT GO TO DR. RUBACH! I had a facelift which left my face very asymetrical & an eye lift which left me with one eye lower than the other! I will have to have another surgery to correct his mistakes!

I have struggled w/ sinus issues for several years. I chose Dr. Rubach because of his great reputation via word of mouth. I ended up having a nasal valve prolapse repair. His staff was very courteous and polite through out the entire process. Dr. Rubach even took the time to call me later on the night of my surgery to ask how I was doing. It has been years since I have been able to breath and sleep well. He fixed all my problems. So pleased and grateful for his work.
