Wow....Dr Mina is an amazing Dr and would highly recommend him...BUT - you must have the patience and personality to deal w/ his front desk staff...The rudest and coldest I have ever been treated!!!! Dr Mina is my primary care Dr as well as my pulmonary specialist...On my next visit to him I am asking him to suggest a new primary Dr for me.....I can not deal w/ the staff....rude - they even yell and demean you!!! I needed a referral recently and I was told I didn't need a referral and they would give me a hand written giving me permission to see another Dr!!! OMG - it took a week of phone calls [all unbelievably curt and rude] to finally get an office manager on the phone who offered to call my insurance company to prove to me that I did not need a referral...wow I did receive a phone call the following day saying that they sent a referral and I did need one!!! Why did I have to go through this is beyond me....and no apology was given!! Please do not get sick and think you will get an… appt - it might take 8 -9 weeks for an appt!!!! That is why I needed a referral
