Dr. Byron Thomas Garibaldi, MD

While dealing with addiction I was a “frequent flyer” as they like to say. But when I was finally getting sober I became incredibly sick. I tried four times to go to Northwest ER to get the help I knew I needed. I had prolonged vomiting, hadn’t eaten, and had been in pain for a week. After this doctor looked in my mouth, he declared I was fine “You’re hydrated” he said, and he refused to treat me. Had I not gone to Washington Regional afterwards, I can’t imagine what would’ve happened to me. It took four bags of both magnesium and potassium to return my levels to normal. I also suffered acute kidney injury from the dehydration I was experiencing. I don’t remember much of the following day but I had two separate IVs going to get me back to normal. Frequent flyer or not, he should’ve seen just how far gone I was. He doesn’t care about his patients, and he certainly doesn’t do his due diligence or his duties as a doctor. I will never recommend him to anyone. If you have a choice, avoid… Northwest ER and Dr. Garibaldi. Thankfully, Washington Regional helped me, or I might have suffered until the end. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Two members of my family have gone to NW Medical Centers ER and had the misfortune of being mistreated by this dangerous and completely unprofessional man. He misdiagnosed both of my family members which nearly lead to the death of one! I cannot stress enough how dangerous he is and how important it is to keep this "doctor" away from your family!!
