Dr charny took out my gallbladder and he it laparoscopic and he did a excellent job thanks two him i am back two my old self and enjoying my life

Dr. Charny is an excellent and confident surgeon. I am not a “doctor” person but he immediately put me at ease. Happy that I selected him!

Absolutely horrible Dr. I went to him in so much pain and he refused to do anything to help me. He told me it was a personal choice and he wasn't going to do it. He is arrogant and has ZERO empathy. I was crying in his office asking him to help and he didnt care one bit. I don't know how hes still practicing. He told me that the antibiotics I was on weren't working and wanted to put me in the hospital for a week. Now I was only on the antibiotics for 36 hours at this point and he did no tests on me so how would he know when this is the first time he saw me. Every time I asked him a question about my condition his response would be "you tell me". Please avoid this Dr at all costs.

He is the absolute worst doctor ever !!! I went for a simple consultation visit about my gallbladder, I spent maybe 5, max 10 mins with me and I find out through my insurance that he billed me for 45 mins...thank god i went with a different doctor for my surgery. I also found out he charges almost $400 more of a gallbladder surgery compared to other doctors. DO NOT GO WITH HIM!

I had a umbilical hernia repaired by Dr Charny three weeks ago. I would highly recommend him because he did a amazing job. I had a great and speedy recovery with no complication. He performed it at the Rye ambulatory place, what a great place friendly staff, very organized, informative, on time and clean.

Fabulous in every way. Excellent surgeon, very caring, and committed to his patients. I'm alive today due to Dr. Charney's talent and abilities. He saved my life. Can't ask more then that.Staff is terrific always pleasant and I never waited more then ten minutes with follow up appointments. He himself will always call you back.
