Dr. Candy Ngiam Ting, DO

Dr. Ting has been our family primary care physician for over 10 years and in that time the quality of her care has significantly diminished to the point that her substandard care has the potential to, and in some cases already has, endanger her patients and violate her Hippocratic oath. Patients are routinely left waiting in the waiting room and then exam room for hours after their scheduled appointment time. Patients issues are ridiculed by the staff and doctors and are regularly overbilled and/or double billed for long appointments through their insurance when the only long section of the appointment is the wait. Patients concerns are ignored and requests or questions of any kind are looked upon as questioning the doctor's expertise. Furthermore, patients are told they must schedule separate appointments for each medical issue and cannot be treated or have more than one medical issue addressed per appointment. I cannot in good faith recommend her to anyone who cares about… themselves or their loved ones, and would highly recommend finding another physician to anyone who currently receives medical service from Dr. Ting. Additionally, complaints can be filed with the Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners for allegations of malpractice, negligence, incompetence, unprofessional conduct and other categories.

When I moved to Tulsa in 2011, I continued to drive back to OKC to my doctor for two years until I could find a doctor who fulfilled my needs. One of not just training and intelligence, but compassion and caring. One who was genuine, honest and humble yet confident. I have been with Dr. Candy Ting since 2012 I will remain with her(God Willing) till she retires or I leave this life. Nothing else can be asked of a physician than to be a great healer. She is truly remarkable in her altruism. I recommend her to everyone who is looking for a doctor. She is not doc in a box or someone who just hands out the latest pharmaceutical reps recommendations.

This is really hard for me to write but I know I must speak up in case there are any other patients she does this too. Been seeing her for about 2 years In the beginning she seemed happy we had great conversations but then I could tell she would walk in moody with me like she dislikes me. I would began to tell her important things about my health concerning things because I already have had several diagnosis and she would ignore me tell me it takes to much time to do bloodwork she was always in a hurry to leave me only after 5 minutes. So I began to go inside myself because I did not want to bother her and I started to shut down I became quiet like I think she liked and not myself it was very sad. My family would get mad at me and say how cruel she is to me she is neglecting my health because she has no time. I always feel like now when I see her im in second grade and she is my teacher that is getting ready to be yelled at. My family thinks both her and her staff have abused me but I… don't say anything to her when I'm in there she gives me no chance so she is not helping me. The staff some of them are extremly unprofessional rude and they lie or seem like there are very nosy with people charts and talking gossip cruel things about other patients it's very sad to hear this. When I call the receptionist they always give me a hard time and they are rude they act like they are the nurse or the doctor. They always seem to re tell me my medicine that I don't even take and play games with my refills which confuses the doctor I think office is very unstable and they need new doctors and an entire new staff especially office manager I'm not sure if she does nothing at all all day but sit there and try to control everyone it's not professionaAMENmenent All.Please someone the higher ups really need to see each individual person that works here and do a solid review on them or get rid of them and give a chance for others that actually can show respect and dignity mercy and grace and love with professionalism to the patients. Patients deserve a beautiful heart in every worker. I pray that God Almighty will look at this petition and justice will be served. Amen

Dr. Ting is enthusiastic about patient care. She has always given me her time during appointments. She is never in a hurry and makes me feel like I'm her only patient for the day. I've only seen Dr. Ting for a year and half and she always listens to what I have to say. I feel like I have input to my health care. Dr. Ting would be my choice if I had to choose from Dr.s I've seen in the past.

I been going to Dr Ting for years but one thing that I noticed that she has changed. I went in there for a few things and I got no resolution to my problem other than you overweight you need to lose some weight. Then I am in her office for hours. It is time for me to move on to another doctor.

Dr. Ting was 2 hours and 45 minutes LATE for my appointment. NOT WORTH THE WAIT. Find another doctor.

All staff very thorough. Dr Ting spent a lot of time addressing all issues, verifying, adding and refilling meds. Exceptional patient care.

I really enjoyed having Dr. Ting as my doctor. She listens and spends as much time as needed. I've never felt rushed and I appreciate that she's always answered my questions. But that being said, I'm switching doctors. Her wait time is outrageous...try 2-3 hours! At first I was inclined to think that it was because she spends so much time talking to her patients but after a while I realized it's because her staff doesn't schedule patients properly. Also getting an appointment is impossible. She told me when I first saw her to never go to Urgent Care, but rather call her office and make a same day appointment. I tried that a few times but each time was told she was unavailable and all booked up. Most recently I called for a physical and was told I would have to wait till May. When I expressed shock, the receptionist rudely told me that she only did two a day. Then proceeded to tell me I really didn't need a physical. That is why I'm leaving Dr. Ting.

We LOVE Dr. Ting. She is straight forward, honest and takes a tremendous amount of time with her patients. My daughters (20 and 24) and I all three go to Dr. Ting.
