Dr. Closson joined National Spine & Pain Centers in 2007. He attended The Johns Hopkins University where he received a B.S. in Biology. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, and then completed a General Surgery Internship at St. Agnes Hospital.Dr. Closson’s Anesthesiology residency and fellowship in Interventional Pain Management was at the University of Maryland Department of Anesthesiology. He has given numerous lectures on low back pain, complex regional back pain syndrome, spinal cord and peripheral stimulation.

He listens, is conservative with his approaches to pain management, and does not just throw pills at the problem. Fantastic. Feels like I got my life back after he worked with me through treating my lower back pain.

I always feel comfortable ,understood, respected all while receiving excellent health care services. I currently live in FORT Washington M.D. and I drive to the Bowie Md. location because of the great services I 've been receiving there. Thank you ALL and keep up the good work.

Everyone at this facility is very nice and professional. I have a great deal of confidence in Dr. Closson to do what is needed to relieve my pain. When I was in pain a number of months ago, he took the necessary steps to take away my pain. I am in pain again, in a different are of my body, and I know he will help me again. While doing the procedure he is always asking the patients if they are in any pain or just what they are experiencing. He is very thoughtful and considerate of his patients. I find that very comforting to me. *NAME*

Quinton is THE BEST, he is always so happy and carefree, doesn't let any stressful moment bother him nor does it show on his face, he is perfect at the front desk. Ty is also another great person and very helpful with everything, always has a smile and doesn't let a situation interfere with the job. Angie (lady with auburn long hair at front desk) another great person to have at the front desk, she is always very quick to help and get you out the door. PLEASE DONT CHANGE THE FRONT DESK PERSONNEL, I LOVE COMING THERE KNOWING I GET GREETED WITH A CARING FACE
