My provider is thorough most always. I was having persistent headaches, no fever, occasional nausea. I had previous blood work done for my yearly check, but we decided it would be a good idea to rule out any other issues that may cause persistent headaches, such as anemia etc. I felt my provider was very thorough in ordering those. The only thing I felt wasn't addressed is that I am still having some bouts of coughing. I had a previous chest x-ray a while back that was negative for any issues. Because of criteria, I cannot get a CT scan even though I used to smoke, so my provider cannot order this test since it won't be covered. I feel as if the system neglects some issues and that I am on my own to find an answer.
