Dr. Carlo Anthony Orlando, MD

Great doctor! Very happy with him. He's answered all my questions, even when he wasn't in office! He performed my surgery yesterday and has been very forthright about what I can expect in recovery.

Horrible Doctor I had a torn labrum on my left hip he made it even worst. It has been 3 years after surgery, i still have pain and limping . Don't waste your time on Carlos Orlando. He got paid over 20.000 to make my hip even bad.

We have been patients of Dr, Orlando for eight years now. He is an excellent doctor and surgeon who has helped all three of our children with their various sports injuries. He is kind, courteous, and never in a rush. He allows his patients to make the final decision about surgery. Great doctor, great facility.

I got a fairly bad diagnosis from my primary doctor that I wanted a second opinion about. I saw Dr. Orlando at his Glendale Adventist office. He was prompt and very thorough. He requested x-rays and an MRI of my knee and wrote a request for P.T. He did not recommend surgery because I did not need it. I appreciate how thorough he was, how kind he treated me, and how professional his office staff was. I saw the other reviews on this site and was absolutely shocked. That is not the doctor I saw. I actually went into the appointment with a bit lower expectations as surgeons can have a reputation for being curt. He was friendly, kind and listened to me. I was impressed. I went back for a follow-up, and I was treated just as well the second time.

He was the kind of doctor I immediately don't like (or trust): 1) Defensive/impatient with respect to my questions/concerns re: my injury. 2) Dismissive of my suggestions (It *is* my body, after all). 3) In a *real* hurry. 4) The "great man" vibe i.e. "You're lucky I'm your doctor."After two D- appointments I didn't trust his diagnosis or prognosis. I got another referral. This is not a guy I would want operating on me.

I was in extreme pain the first time I saw Doctor Orlando-I could barely walk,I received an injection that cleared 80% of my pain and the next few days I was 100% better. He has told me I will eventually need surgery on my knee as it is really bone on bone. He is not pushing me to have surgery. He is excellent..very knowledgeable and caring.

Horrible experience!!! Waited for an hour and the doctor spent 2 minutes with us. No wonder it was extremely easy to get an appointment.

This surgeons arrogance and insensitivity never ceases to amaze me. Maybe he needs to experience a little pain in his life.

Doesn't spend enough time w/ patients (always in a rush). Typical surgeon mentality - you're left w/ the feeling he doesn't care. You have to ask all the questions possible - because he provides very limited information and details. HE'S A GOOD SURGEON - BUT LACKING ALL THE QUALITIES THAT WOULD MAKE HIM A GREAT DOCTOR.
