Dr. Carlos Lorenzo Dominguez, MD

Beware. 1 - The office staff is rude, never answer the phone and refuse to give you an itemize receipt. Instead they give you a card with a number to call. I find that suspect. 2. - My husband and I both had appointments today - they called me back to the examining room one (1) hour after my scheduled appointment time. The nurse looked and said that both mine and my husband's bloodwork had not come back yet and that we should reschedule our appointments. I said, I would like to talk to the doctor anyway to discuss our prescriptions and I had a couple issues with my health I wanted to bring to the doctor's attention. I thought they would schedule us another appointment to go over the blood work - they had to renew our prescriptions anyway. As soon as the doctor came in, he (VERY RUDELY) said, and I quote - "you didn't get your bloodwork done. YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME". I said - I am wasting your time? seriously? He said "YES, I am very busy" I fired him on the spot and demanded a refund… of the $70 copay I just paid. The fact is - HE WASTED MY TIME! having me wait an hour for an appointment I made months ago and then to treat me like a burden! The staff should have pulled the bloodwork before my appointment time - they should have known before they had me wait an hour - they should have given me the option to reschedule before they took my copayment. AND - the fact that he prescribed a medicine that did not work. He changed our blood pressure medicine and both mine and my husband's blood pressure shot thru the roof causing me chest pain! We went back to the medicine we had prior to the change. Not to mention he stopped prescribing my husband's cholesterol medication and did not replace it with anything else. That was one of the reasons I wanted to talk to the doctor. Previously tried calling the office several times on that topic and they never called me back. I value my health, and I deserve to have a doctor who actually cares about me - not a doctor like this. So, beware before you hire this one.

Where do I start? From the rude staff to the incompetence of the nurse practitioner stay away from this doctor. Non-caring would be too nice a thing to say about this office. I should have read the reviews.

Dr. Dominguez is a great doctor! And the people in his office are so kind and helpful. He has been my family doctor for years and we all love him. He tells it like it is and we appreciate him.

The nurse practitioner is absolutely wonderful and so is the doctor....the staff at this place is continuously rude and unprofessional no personality always hate coming here changing as of today....felt like I could deal with it to be able to see the arnp I like but, it's getting really nauseating to even be there.

Very deceived ,now even the secretary also has a bad attitude really convinced me is time to look for a good primary doctor

I trying to see the doctor always said walking and i wait all morning for nothing , now i been sick for 2 days and the nurse tell me don't have nothing i have to go walking again , i tell her you don't plan to be sick and she said to me if nothing i can do, you believe, worst staff ever, no education at all

Deceived because of his BAD attitude I won’t ask for him again for appointment I don’t want him to loose his lucrative time ; made me feel as an object will NOT recommend

Dr. Dominguez is an excellent Dr., he has been my Mother's Doctor for over 20 years, unfortunately, his staff are extremely unprofessional.

Dr. Dominguez is wonderful. He knows what's ailing me before I tell him. He is very kind and explains everything, even when I don't understand he is patient to explain until I get it. I love Dr. Dominguez and I would recommend him to anyone.
