If your loved one ever gets admitted to Del Amo Hospital, I hope you never encounter this doctor. Not only does he not perform evaluations on his patients, he reads their admission note and extends holds based on their admission assessment. Never reassesses his patients, never performs a daily face to face evaluation on his patients as required by law to continue holds. Then; when attempting to discuss discharged planning with him, he just repeats why your loved one was placed on the original hold. Never does he answer any questions regarding the patients current state of mind or progress in the treatment program: his answer is always “I don’t feel comfortable until the attending psychiatrist evaluated them” WHY DO YOU EVEN WORK THERE OR CALL YOURSELF A PSYCHIATRIST THEN? Useless doctor and one of the reasons no one gets help for their mental health issues
