I went to Dr. Skinner for 2-3 years, and wasn't overly impressed with her or her staff. I tend to question doctors-you know 'why should I do this, are you SURE I should take this", etc, etc. The last time I questioned her, 2 days later I got a registered letter saying she didn't want to be my doctor any longer. Seems like she wants patients to take her say so as gospel, and if not-hit the road.On several occasions, her staff refused to 'work me in' like every doctor does. They just say 'go to the E.R.'

I would highly recommend Dr Skinner. I switched to her from a Dr that you waited at least an hour to see and then pushed you out with pills and tests. She is very prompt and actually spends time with you. I like how she sends you a copy of your test so you know what your numbers are.

Dr Skinner is pleasant. Discusses options. Looking out for my best interest and is not in a hurry to order multiple tests. Seems thoughtful and througout.

During a pap by a former nurse practitioner Ithe fire alarm went off. She looked at assisting said oh well I'm sure its just a false alarm. And proceeded with exam while they evacuated the building. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. This NP is no longer at office.

This doctor send a letter to you letting you know what your test results were. I don't have to play phone tag anymore like I did at my old doctors office.
