Dr. Carol Margaret Ways, MD

wanted me to go and spend money I couldn't afford having acupuncture because my body was "out of tune' before she would think about any other treatment or reasons for my heart or thyroid problems. I felt completely bullied and will not be going back..ever.

Dr. Ways is the worst doctor I have ever seen. She took hardly any time with me (was in the room for less than 7 minutes) and most of that time was spent with her back to me filling out paperwork. She gave me the least comprehensive exam I have ever had, asked no questions and communicated little. Her bedside manner was non-existent. I left with no restrictions on my paperwork, yet was held accountable for decisions she made that weren't conveyed to me. I have yet to get a return call from her per my request to talk about my health decisions. I will be changing doctors asap since I need a doctor who communicates and is trustworthy.

It was my lucky day when Dr. Ways took over my doctors practice when he retired. I have never felt more confident in a Doctor in my 68 years. She is professional yet compassionate. I will miss her terribly. I have had to find a new Doctor closer to my home, and I hope she is half as good as Carol, and I will be happy. Good luck in your new location. If I am ever in the area expect a visit and a hug. Your the best.

She has been my doc for 20 years.. My mom had her as our family doc and when I became am adult I have her as my families doc! She has been with me through thick and thin. I can make her laugh and she knows my personal life and she gives the best advice and she doesn't take chances on ones health! Most doc's work to protect and save the insurance money. Not my doc Dr ways she puts her patients first without hesitation. She is the very best!!

Dr. Ways has been my doctor for over 25 years. She has a very good bedside manner and has always seemed to be vested in my health. She has had a tough time with me over the years due to my phobia of needles, but she has always dealt with me no matter what. She is a great doctor and I would never change doctor's. Thank You Dr. Ways!

Top notch physician who listens, takes the time, balances holistic attitudes with traditional practices. Does not dismiss or condescend although she'll be frank, which can be (and should be) a little unsettling if you're being stupid, as I can be from time to time. I've noticed that sometimes she can be a little slow to respond and it turns out she's actually thinking about my case before commenting or making a recommendation. Interesting habit.
