Dr. Carolina Amador, MD

Dr. Amador was briefly my daughter's Pediatrician when we were living in Corvallis and we were lucky have found her. I normally do not see conventional western Doctors for non-emergency visits, but at the time our insurance did not pay for us to see a ND. Due to complications my daughter was born small, but healthy and also had a scare when she was put into a baby sling and stopped breathing (please don't put small babies in slings). Every other MD I came across in that time made me feel like I did something wrong or I was doing something wrong. Dr. Amodor treated me with respect and reassured me that my little girl was healthy. If I was to move back to Corvallis, I would take my children to Dr. Amodor again without hesitation! She is a rare gem in the practice of fifteen minute medicine and she manages to listen better than any MD I have ever met given the time constraints.
