Dr. Caroline E Schmitt, MD

I have gone to her for several years now and find her to be knowledgeable and compassionate. The last time I had a procedure to remove a growth on my nose. She did a excellent job and I don't even show a scar. That is saying something because it was large. Turned out not to be cancer but I am glad I had it removed.

I have been going to Dr. Schmitt for 4 years and have had 4 removals done for biopsy and shin cancer, including one on my face. I have no scars and found her to be thorough, pleasant, caring and generally an excellent doctor!

I had MOHs surgery with this doctor and it was not performed correctly. A very deep plug was taken, not the thin slices to be tested as in MOHs surgery when correctly done. Didn't seem to want to take the time to do it correctly.

This Dr. did a horrible job on a removal of a cyst on my neck. She also changed the method in which she would do the procedure while I was already prepped. This was an inappropriate method (punch vs extraction) and left a horrible divet in my neck. I would NEVER have had this done had I been informed what would happen. Years later I still regret going to this Dr.
