Dr. Carolyn Doherty, MD

Thanks to her we are pregnant a second time with IVF. She has one job get you pregnant and she did just that!! I recommend her to everyone she is the best in Omaha! She isn’t there to be your friend she is there to set it straight she can either get you pregnant or she can not. We are forever grateful for her!

I'm not sure why people in Omaha still think she's your go-to baby doctor in Omaha. Straight up rude along with her staff. I would suggest looking into Heartland Center for Reproductive Medicine. The doctors and staff there much more compassionate and you're not just a number to them. Especially when you are taking hormone injections the doctor and nurses should have some type of empathy but they don't. She needs to just retire! She made me feel rushed and failed to answer questions as to why I had 3 failed IUI's. So much money wasted with no answers. I went to Heartland and got answers.

Please quit looking for providers who are going to tell you what you want to hear. She is dedicated to getting you pregnant, not being your therapist. Shes knowledgeable and really knows her stuff.

I saw a handful of negative reviews on Maud Doherty and I was honestly terrified to go see her when she was who I was scheduled with. I'm so happy that my fears were silly. She is straight to the point and her only goal in mind is creating a healthy environment for you to grow a baby. When you suffer from fertility issues you already have enough pity from others in your life, it was amazing to have a doctor whose only goal is to give you a baby, not coddle you. 100% recommend.

I was rushed into IVF when I was 40 years old with Dr. Doherty telling me I did not have time. We had good quality eggs but I miscarried at 8 weeks for my fresh cycle and miscarried again when I had an FET at 7 weeks. We spent about $15K with this doctor and she never did her job except rush us into IVF, then and FET and then several IUIs. She told me I miscarried due to chromosomal abnormalities and I did not buy it. I recently found out through another out of state doctor that I have an auto-immune disorder which was never diagnosed by Dr. Doherty. This disoder will cause me to miscarry because the embryos were being rejected by my body. Fast forward this year, I am in my late 40s and am being properly treated for Hashimotos with certain medications. I am currently pregnant in my advanced years and it is going well. Stay away from Dr. Slaughtery!

My husband and I tried and tried and everyone told go here, that’s what they did and all got results. So I made the call went to appointments. During are first round I felt they didn’t care and forgot to call us I ended up getting period early due to there misjudgement. Second round once again and I feel they knew it and cost a lot of time money and heartache.

We first went after our second miscarriage. She was honest and didn't sugarcoat anything. Two IVF's and 2 little boys later I realize that that is what I needed. My ob/gyn could hold my hand and give me a hug after my miscarriages but she couldn't give me my babies. Dr D can't stand around making you FEEL better. She is fighting for the life of your baby. She is working to do her job. To all those who needed her to be full of puppies and rainbows...get a therapist to help you with that. If you want an honest reproductive endo who is amazing at helping women, go to Dr Doherty. I came here because I have thyroid issues and wanted to see if I was a potential patient. I read too many reviews from people who obviously needed more of a counselor and less of an actual scientist. I think she is perfect and I actually hope she can treat me again.

Maud is on a mission: to help you get pregnant. I think going in to fertility treatments you need to be focused . . . and she is there all the way with you. I have read some of the negative reviews. I can't believe them. One said she was angry that Dr. Doherty didn't say "congratulations". Oh my goodness. Dr. Doherty is focused on helping women get pregnant and having a baby, and women are picking at what and how she said things? This is what I know: she met me on a Sunday morning when I spotted. She called me when I was barely pregnant with not good hormone levels and said "we are going to try to rescue this baby". She monitored my blood and pregnancy like most doctors won't. I have two beautiful babies and I waited too long to get help to get pregnant. Dr. Doherty will always be a blessing to me. Always.

Dr. Doherty and her staff are simply the best!! I saw them to deal with fibroid tumors. They were so kind and patient! The surgeries went well and they have walked me through my recovery. Best office around!

So so so rude and has a flippant attitude. She lacks sensitivity which should be a standard when dealing with people on hormone shots especially.
