She is the most caring and compassionate doctor there is. She also has an outstanding memory.

Dr. McKelvie is a fantastic doctor and certainly worth the wait, however her back office staff (Keisha)is horrible. Make sure you have all your prescriptions when you leave and call at least 2 months in advance of running out as that is how long it takes her around to getting things done. If I didn't love the doctor so much I would have left this practice because of the staff!!!!!

ASIDE THE LONG WAIT TO SEE THE DOCTOR, YOU'LL DISCOVER WHY YOU WAITED WHEN YOUR FINIALY SEE THE DOCTER, SHE TAKES HER TIME TO GET TO KNOW YOU, IN ORDER TO GIVE THE PROPER DIANOSIS. SHE CARES. VERY BUSY. HIGH DEMAND.....

The wait time to see the doctor is absolutely ridiculous, make sure to schedule a morning appointment, although you will still have to wait quite awhile in the waiting room. The only plus is that Dr. McKelvie is a good doctor and takes as much time for you as she will another patient, sometimes to long though.

If you can get past the 'policies' and speak to the doctor she is good. However, dealing with the staff is not fun at all. They are not compassionate or understanding at all. You are just a number. They do not care what your need is. Your appt is at least 2.5 - 3 weeks out regardless!

I have been going to Dr McKelvie for over ten years now. She is a great listener and takes time with every patient - probably why she gets behind but I find her worth the wait.

Dr McKelvie is extremely caring and the only Doctor my husband has ever been willing to see. He hates waiting, but is willing to wait for Dr McKelvie, anyone else, he would never waited, but leave and not bother to come back.She takes the time to find out how you are and the changes in your life that effect you and any conditions that you may have. She always goes out of her way to listen and help.
