Dr Cary Lowell Levine

The practice used to be good but since partnering with Winthrop Hospital, it's a disaster! Imagine calling for an appointment - calls don't go to Dr. Levine but to Winthrop - & being told some 'should' call you within an hour! Requests to speak to doctor or for renewals of meds rarely ever get sent to doctor's office. Before Winthrop: 4 stars. After partnering with Winthrop: 1 star! Stay far away or risk your blood pressure going sky high from frustration!

Argued with me when I told him of symptoms that I'd had before that brought me to him; my last doc retired so I went to Levine on a recommendation. Told me my problem "didn't work that way," and prescribed a different med. next day the blood results came in showing that indeed, I was having the same problem that I've had for "YEARS!!!!" He should show a little more respect for patients' intelligence.

I was very surprised that they didn't want to answer my questions at all. In fact, they just ignored all of my questions. I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. They definitely were not willing or able to answer the majority of the questions I had. I needed a lot of information, but received barely any. They didn't follow through with almost everything they told me I would get when I first arrived. I feel like they slighted me. Might be the most arrogant, abrasive doctor I have ever encountered.
