Dr. Catherine Amanda Colquitt, MD

I personally have never found a more caring doctor than Dr. Colquitt. She has helped my health in countless ways. She and her nurse Crystal have gone above & beyond to make I get the help that I need even if it’s with another specialist for what is needed. I can never thank them enough for helping me get my life back.

This doctor will not use a microscope or read a peer-reviewed article to save your life. She comes in with a pre determined diagnosis before even meeting you. She absolutely will not change her predetermined misconceptions about your specific situation. It does not matter how much scientific research you ask her to look at She will close the book and refuse to read what her peers have published. She absolutely will not consider even looking through a microscope on your behalf. Steer clear of this woman! It is a shame that she has such a high position in our public health sector. Her presence is a danger to public health.

I was sexually assaulted and contracted an STD. Dr. Colquitt, I’m assuming did NOT read my chart history or notes and assumed I contracted my illness because of my “previous behaviors and partners”. I have been emotionally distraught and uncomfortable with her, because of her attitude. She is unprofessional and unsympathetic. My appointments are always rushed and I am never really heard during my visits.

This is the person responsible for shutting down Tarrant county schools. Remember that when you are unemployed.

I am a retired nurse and very particular about the Dr my family sees. Dr. Colquitt is excellent. She has such a vast knowledge and does not give up until she finds out what is wrong with her patient, and treats it properly. She is very thorough with diagnostic and treatment. Very concerned about her patient and does extensive follow up. She is what ALL Drs should be. A kind compassionate REAL human unlike so many these days. I HIGHLY recommend her. A wonderful personality and bedside manner. GOD BLESS THIS LADY

Had to wait 6 months to get in to see this doctor, once I finally saw her I was treated for reoccurring MRSA infections. With rifampin after about a year I had another serious one come up she put me in the hospital for 48 hrs. Got it cleared up afterwards was told I will have this problem for the rest of my life. Well guess what I went to a different doctor and have done hours and hours of researching every article I come across says to NEVER use rifampin alone it is to always be used with a combination drug and this is exactly what she did! I would never recommend anyone going to her she needs to go back to school or do some research before throwing drugs out there.!

The staff working the front desk are the rudest I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I sat and watched the receptionist berate an elderly lady for daring to ask for an explanation of what she was being charged for. The stag then proceeded to make fun of her loudly after she left. This was before we even saw the doctor I would never recommend this office to anyone. I was floored by the rude and mean spirited behavior.

Extremely intelligent.

She wanted me to be on antibiotics for the rest of my life and schedule me to see her every other month at 50.00 a month. She also would not try a medication that did work. She would not send me to an Allergist to see if that medicine would cause a reaction. Thank God for my PCP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
