Dr Plonka is caring and knowledgeable. She supported me as a new parent as the doctor to both of my sons. I appreciated her taking the time to answer my questions and help me make decisions.

Dr. Plonka has been my doctor for a few years now and is very knowledgeable and friendly. She never makes me feel rushed, and answers all of my questions. In addition, you can talk to her about anything and she explains things really well. Also, this wouldn't let me give her 4 stars! So that's why she gets 3.

I came late to my appointment due to a misunderstanding (the person I spoke to on the phone to arrange the appointment had a thick accent). So I was stressed out and still filling out paperwork when they threw the blood pressure cuff on me. My BP came back borderline high. Dr. Plonka threatened to put me on medication without even taking a second reading during that visit. I was SCARED when I left. I monitored my own BP for several weeks and finding it to be normal, never made a followup appointment. It is my opinion that Plonka assumed that because I am obese, the high blood pressure must be real and not just from the stress of the moment. I believe she is more interested in her charts and statistics than in her patients' emotional and physical well being.
