Dr. Catherine R Zelner, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Zelner for years. The office management has always been bad but it looks like it has gotten even worse. I tried to schedule an appointment by calling different times different days during office hours to address a blood concern. No one answers in-person. You are directed to leave a voicemail. They answer whenever they want and they don't seem to care that you have left previous messages. When I tried to get squeezed in the next appointment was weeks ahead. I called my general practitioner for a reference. I was referred to Women's Care in Winter Park. I was immediately taken in as a new patient. The doctors in the practice, men and women are high rated. The practice is refreshingly professional and efficient and it is all integrated. There is no need to settle for mediocle service. Dr Zelner is going to have to address the continuing problem she has with staff. Her practice is over rated to the point where going to her is not worth the… frustration.

I was a patient of Dr Zelner for about 3 years. A few years ago I had a miscarriage and made an appointment with the nurse practitioner. She told me my period just came late and it was no big deal. A couple months later Dr. Zelner tells me I have a condition which makes getting pregnant almost impossible. Less than a month later I am back in the office, pregnant. The doctor's words of wisdom,"you willnprobably have a miscarriage." No advice on anything that can be done to prevent this. Fast forward to switching doctors and practices, I now have a beautiful 1 year old from that pregnancy. How can a women's health doctor treat people this way. This is on top of the excessive wait times and inability to make an appointment with the doctor when she is the o e requesting it. Ridiculous.

Excellent care, excellent staff! I look forward to my follow up appointments. I’ve been going to Dr Zelner now for about 5 years and I have never had a bad experience.

Absolutely in love with this Dr. and her staff!

Dr Zelner’s office is a complete waste of time. Their front office staff are rude, unorganized and untrained in their job. After a waste of time annual and initial visit with Dr Zelner or someone who might be her (she walked in and never introduced herself) where she never asked me about any sexual history or health issues, I was told I need blood work and a ultrasound. Ok fine. Scheduled. Got two confirmation emails and two phone calls confirming date and time. I get there and the front desk girl Angelica tells me that the ultrasound tech emailed and called me to tell me that they didn’t have enough work for the tech so they cancelled the US. No, you didn’t call me or email me. You are all lying sacs of amniotic fluid (ask your boss what that means since you are all uneducated). She then tells me I have to reschedule, taking ANOTHER day off from work. Who cancels medical care???? When I say I’m not sure, good old Angelica, the rudest person ever, tells me “it’s a yes or no and you… can leave”. I will be calling my insurance to tell them about the fraud and lack of care they provided at the initial visit. I will not be returning. As a medical professional myself, I will be reporting this office to every board possible and requesting review of their ethics practices. Best of luck to you!

Don't waste your time or money here. She is not knowledgeable in natural or holistic medicine. When she couldn't answer my questions and I knew more than she did on the subject, it's a problem. Her office staff is not very helpful and rude. Looks like they do not care about their patients at all and are there just to collect a paycheck, no one cares about YOU!!! You will wait for hours to be seen. Enough said, don't go.

Unprofessional office staff

Dr. C .Zelner is fantastic ,I've been going to her clinic for years .. but lately the staff was bad ,when I have my appointment they supposed to give my Rx for mammogram, forgot to give it to me but didn't forget to get my charge.. and when you called them they put you on hold for 11 to more minutes. . You call them back again they just put you on hold without saying anything, you are just on hold.. It sad I like Dr. Z , thinking looking a new doctor.

Dr Zellner is absolutely wonderful. She takes time to go through everything and has even told me if I need anything, I could call. I have found the receptionist staff could be better, but Dr Zellner is fantastic!
