Dr. Celine Emily Mestel, MD

I simply do not understand any of the negative reviews..... I have been a patient of Dr. Mestel for several years now. Very sincere and kind. Always takes the time to address any questions or concerns I may have. Could not ask for a more professional and caring dermatologist, I highly recommend Dr. Mestel.

I wasn't thrilled with Dr. Mestel the first time I saw her but decided to give her a second chance. I was 10 minutes late because I couldn't find her new office and when I got there I was told she left. There won't be a third chance.

Dr. Mestel saw me for an unrelated skin problem. During an exam, she found a skin cancer on my neck and removed it. Pathology report came back as skin cancer that was removed completely. My family and I are grateful. Thank you very much, doctor Mestel.

I do not think Dr. Mestel is very concerned about patients. I have seen her twice...decided to give her another chance. I was even less impressed the second visit. I will not be returning to this doctor.

Dr. Mestel treated me as if I was ignorant about my own health, and responded to any normal concerns/questions I had regarding my conditions as if they were the dumbest thing she'd ever heard. Every time we spoke she acted as though I was wasting her time. I have strongly despised my time under her care since the day my previous dermatologist retired, but continued seeing her until the end of my treatment. I do not recommend her to anyone in the Evansville area. I was recently terminated permanently from making any future appointments with her because I accidentally missed an appointment. I have been a dermatology patient at Deaconess for the last 9 years and now refuse to return. I am so upset by the lack of respect I received from Dr. Mestel and will be looking for a new dermatologist.

She seem immature,dye her hair orange, weird color ,young girl ,not very experienced,she thinks too much of her appearence,lol , seriously I rather have a male Dr. Older ,feel more comfortable,she seem dizzy ,hung up on her looks...just saying , didn't seem very knowledgeable

As a middle aged, out of shape male, with years of skin abuse in the sun, I was very nervous going to a new dermatologist that I knew nothing about. I found Dr. Mestel was intelligent, and reassuring. She treated me with kindness, respect, and answered all the questions I had. I felt she gave a rapid, correct diagnosis, and a treatment plan that didn’t scare me away. I never felt nervous or ashamed for the way I look because of her professional manner and smile throughout the entire appointment. I left feeling I can trust her. In this day and age, that doesn’t happen much anymore. I WILL be sending my family members to her.

Dr. Mestel listens and takes extra time to examine any concerns.

...one if the most professional doctor's visits I have ever had! She answered all pertinent questions and made me feel totally at ease. Additionally the office staff was courteous, friendly, and efficient.

Dr. Celine Mestel is a very good doctor. She did a procedure on my husband and explained everything to us. This was our first time meeting Dr. Mestel and she made you feel along with her staff like they had known us for a long time. And the procedure went well, Thank you Dr. Mestel and your nurse and staff:)
