Dr. Chad L Mcdonald, DO

I first say thank you, to my divine creator to leading me to climb medical. I went in weak and depressed in dire search of an answer. I was coming off a bender with booze and stuck in a horrible cycle. From day with Climb my life has been transformed. Doctor Mc. Donald and Lisa treat people with a measure of love and respect. This is in conjunction with a modern approach to alcohol use disorder. Guess you gotta see it to believe it... then achieve it. Life is short, the choice for happiness is yours!

Dr McDonald is an amazing caring doctor. Listens and spends time to understand the patient and the issue. Wish there were more doctors like him.

I just had my first appointment with him on Monday and he was able to figure out what's been wrong with me (and what my last 11 doctors couldn't figure out). I started the medication he recommended and felt better within 24 hours. Office was very nice and friendly, too. I recommended my aunt and daughter (who already have appointments).

Very kind and skilled doctor. Made my acne lots better after only 2 sessions. Listened to me. Only thing I didn't like was the receptionist (a bit boring and harsh, typical for a Connecticut doctors office). I've already recommended him to several of my buddies and co-workers.

Just to put it out there: I'm a retired nurse of 35 years. I've worked with dozens of docs in that time. Dr. McDonald is my favorite doc to date. He's caring, he actually LISTENS to me, he doesn't put up with non-sense. I brought my daughter in for her rash that 3 other dermatologists couldn't solve: Dr. McDonald fixed her within 24 hours. My mom's asthma was poorly managed by her allergist for 15 years. 2 months with McDonald and she's a new woman. My husbands hay fever and allergies were terrible and now he feels "25 again". Dr. McDonald is it: he has that X-factor that's hard to find. I probably shouldn't have posted this, since it will be harder to schedule an appointment now! But he's done so much for my family that I had to show my appreciation! Cons: I know that he doesn't use painkillers and narcotics much. After my husband had his gallbladder out he tried to get a refill. Dr. McDonald explained why this was a bad idea and suggested other medicine. My husband agreed and was… happy, so if you're looking for that kind of thing he's probably not the doctor to see.
