Dr. Chan Yong Chung, MD

i was seen by this physician. First I had blood work done and then waited to see the doctor. Finally, i was taken into an office and sat down. After 20 minutes he walked in and sat at a desk/table and starting typing on his computer. He did not introduce himself or even say hello. Finally, still at his computer and not even turning around to look at me he stated, "We found antibodies in your blood for hepatitis and you have Liver Disease". I was shocked. I asked, What can we do about it and he said, "Nothing" I asked him how I got the disease since I never drank a drop of alcohol and he stated, "It's probably genetic". Then he got up and left the room. Then I was told by the staff to go into the Nurse's Office, She was very, very nice and told me I would need to take a medication called Lactulose to remove toxins that my liver was producing. The Doctor was in the hallway and told the nurse that the antibodies for hepatitis in my blood had disappeared and told her to send… me for another blood test. How could they have disappeared I asked of the nurse. She appeared to be uncomfortable discussing it so Ieft and went to give another blood test. I was so upset I called a few days later and cancelled my follow up appointment with this so call physician. He is an inconsiderate, cold heated very, very rude jerk. He should be fired in my opinion.

Dr. Chung was very kind to us. Mom rarely wears her hearing aids and he was very good with her not to mention a bit of dementia setting in. His team called us for a week after our appt to see how mom was doing. Moms PCP doesn't do that.
