Remarkable combination in an incredibly talented physician. Dr. DeVillena was so highly recommended to our family by friends and neighbors that we looked forward to meeting her. She is so effortlessly professional, warm and brilliant that we felt completely at ease and cared for, as if she had been our physician for years (which she will definitely be!).

Dr. DeVillena's patience and unerring eye for detail never fail to amaze me. While away on an extended trip I had another derm look at a small lesion I had. He said it was nothing, just a little irritation. Once back in San Antonio, I went to see Dr. DeVillena (who was known as Dr. Barland before I left!). She didn't like the look of it and biopsied. Sure enough, the path report indicated a cancerous lesion and Dr. DeVillena removed it. She is just wonderful, just wonderful. We love you, Dr. DeVillena!

Dr. Barland is our dermatologist for three generations of my family! From the youngest to the oldest we all love her wonderful care and brilliance. We have recommended her to in-laws and friends, some of whom travel a good distance to see her. Thank you Dr. Barland!
