Dr. Charles A Weber, MD

Ok, so there's only 1 issue. He doesn't accept insurance. And yes, that is really tough if you can't afford it. I had to stop going to him for that reason, HOWEVER, IN FAIRNESS, there's a reason he doesn't. It's because he chooses to spend enough time with the patient so he can hear every single thing going on. He's like a "Dr. House". And while most people probably don't pick up on it, his wheels are turning every second he spends with you. You'll say something, and not think he's listening. But all of a sudden he comes out with something that put the last three things you said together. He's thorough. He'll be sure to send you for tests even if he thinks there's a small chance it could be something rare. And he's usually right on the money. He's really good. And not afraid to, say, diagnose Lupus just because the titer is a low positive. He goes by the whole picture and he's proactive. I really appreciate him. Unfortunately I haven't gone to anyone else in the meantime because I… personally know how difficult it is to find a good rheumatologist in Central Jersey. And all the other types of docs say the same. I'll go back soon because I have to. It didn't seem to me to make sense investing my time and energy into another doc just to have something reversed or go undiagnosed. I'd rather just wait. So wait I did. Lol. But I'm going to call him soon because I need a good doc again! He's worth it!

I had a great experience with my brand new rheumatologist! He is very caring, great listener, super knowledgeable. Overall a wonderful experience. The staff is both knowledgeable and courteous.

Called to make an appt as my previous rheumatologist retired. He does not accept insurance! Wow! With limited choices as it is I will have to suffer in pain thanks to healthcare in this state. Make us buy insurance but doc don't have to accept it!

Since his partner in this practice retired, I feel Dr Weber is overwhelmed and is choosing which patients he wants to keep of his former partner and which he does not want and with me he has cancelled every appointment made in the past 6 or more months. I am unable to get in to see him at all and the staff just make up a new reason each time

Dr. Weber is through and will explain things instead of rushing you out the door (like many doctors do). There is usually a significant wait because of this so keep that in mind. His staff is courteous and knowledgable. I gave him him 5 stars as a doctor but wish he accepted more insurance.
