Dr. Charles W Butrick, MD

While this man may be well-versed in his field, his bedside manner is absolutely awful. No compassion. First time I have ever left a doctor’s office in tears.

My husband and I were looking for a very skilled, knowledgeable, and most of all, experienced urogynecologist. We were both extremely grateful and felt Dr. Butrick exceeded our expectations. We also appreciated his thouroughness of helping us understnad the complete picture and expecially how one part affects another part. Dr. Butrick's office staff and physical therapists were also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I was not looking for a best friend, but instead an expert surgeon recognized nationally and internationally and top in his field. We hightly recommend him.

I have had a good experience with this doctor and his staff. I have had no difficulty after surgery and very little pain. He tells you how it is and how to avoid difficulties in the future. I especially like they put you to sleep before they position you for surgery. I am delighted that my problem was solved and I can enjoy my life again

I have had urinary urgency and frequency issues for at least 15 years. I had seen Urologist and urogynecologist with no relief . i thought I'd just have to live with it. Then i movedto kansas city and found Dr. Butrick. His extensive in office diagnostic process turned up two issues....frequency and Interstitial Cystitis. He prescribed a 4 part regimen of pelvic floor massage from a physical therapist a prescription to help frequent night urination and bladder "cocktails" administeredby aFemale nurse practitioner. 6 weeks later, I am back to what I had forgotten normal is. I recommend Dr Butrick without reservation. I am singing his praises to all my midlife friends with similar issues.

My title says it all. One feels vulnerable presenting to a doctor with "urinary" symptoms and Dr. Butrick's distant, imperious manner does not reduce that feeling. I have no idea if his diagnosis was correct (Piriformis Syndrome), as I did follow the exercises given to me and did not notice any improvement. I gave up finding help for years but since some symptoms have become worse I feel motivated to go back to a doctor of this specialty. But I could never bring myself to return to him.

I don't live in the KC area anymore, and moved out of state, but Dr Butrick and his staff were great during the time I was a patient. I wish I had someone like him here to go to. His staff was always so caring.

Dr. Buttrick delivered my youngest child who is now 23 years old. He performed my surgery about 10 years ago and the results have changed my life. I highly recommend him and his staff. Although his bedside manner is not the best, he is one of the best in his field and comes highly recommended. His staff members are exceptional as well. They are very compassionate and caring. I highly recommend this business!

I had 3 visits with him . Not going experience. Could take his attitude anymore. He thinks of him -self as a genius and can’t tolerate any questions about treatment plan or anything else. He expects you to listen to him but he doesn’t listen to you. Pelvic floor muscle dysfunction is his answer for all problems. He is NOT the best doctor in this planet! He is arrogant jerk

I read the bad reviews and went anyway. It was a big mistake. I have never met such a strange/arrogant person. I talked with the nurse about bad reviews. Her face said it all. I should have ran. If you still go.....I warned you!
