Dr. Charles Cornelius Sanders, MD

I once was a patient of dr. Sanders, he is the nicest, kind and wonderful Dr. I was very excited when I spoke with my insurance company and they told me that he was on my insurance plan. My insurance will actually call the doctor and make an actual appointment for you. A person by the name of Laura called me from his office and stated that my insurance company had called and if I was interested in being a patient but they would have to fax me new patient information. she stated that I had a certain insurance company that I did not which was not a problem. However when I called back on the same day she called me they had already left the office I tried to call many many times the next day never could get an answer I called the next day several times and finally I got a call back still not a problem. I know places are busy I work in a doctor's office, and if I ever spoke or anyone in our office ever spoke to a patient for a person the way she spoke to me my doctor would be very very… upset. However she was so rude it was not even funny when I explained to her that I did not have United Health Care she immediately went on the attack and told me that she couldn't remember what she had said or who she had talked to, but she didn't talk to me she left a message on my phone which was honestly only 2 days ago and she kept telling me it was 4 days ago. Still she continue being very rude and blunt finally I address that I didn't appreciate she was being so rude and asked if I could speak to someone else and she refused so i asked again and she again would not let me talk to anyone else. I told her that I can't imagine that DR Sanders would appreciate anybody speaking to somebody on the phone in the matter she was talking to me and again she refused to allow me to talk to anyone else. She told me that the insurance company that I told her I had DR Sanders was not on their List. And which I said that's fine she said there was other doctors that were on the list I asked if she could please give me their name and number and she continued being rude so finally I said nevermind I would find out myself and said goodbye and hung up. This is really really sad I truly wanted to be a patient of dr. Sanders I really like him and he is a great doctor, it has been a long time since I've been there I only left due to my insurance changed and if they don't accept your insurance then you cannot be seen by them. however this person Laura that answers the phone should not be allowed to speak with people because she does not have any kind of people skills. He has taking care of my husband and I for along time; however, he no longer takes my husband's insurance and now my husband has to look for another doctor. As for me, well he still take my insurance so I get to stay with Dr. Sanders and I am happy.

Dr Sanders has been awesome for 40 years as my doctor! Kind and patient and thorough!

Great doctor

Dr. Sanders has been my primary care physician for over 20 years and has always given me the best care and treatment. I don't know what I would have done without his medical care for the past 20 years, and if he was to retire I don't know what I would do for a primary care physician.

My husband and I saw Dr. Sanders for 20 or 25 years - Probably the best doctor we ever had! His staff was always caring and responsive, always seemed to go out of way to help with our problems. The only reason we don't see him anymore is because that clinic quit accepting our insurance. Since no longer seeing Dr. Sanders, we definitely feel we DO NOT have the quality of care or physician expertise we always felt we got with Dr. Sanders. It seemed like he ACTUALLY did something to find out what was wrong or to make us feel better, rather than just sending us home maybe to come back later...We always got appointments in timely manner, IF we were really sick usually always got in same day we called. Truly miss having Dr. Sanders as our doctor - If you can get in with him, DO!! They are usually behind tho for appointment times.

Best doc in Corpus Christi, hands down ....

I've been with Dr. Sanders over 7 years and, he is the best Dr./Person That I have ever had tending to my health. I would recommend his services to anyone.
