Dr. Charles H Crawford, MD

Had been to many Dr's in the past saying there was nothing they could do for me , after visiting Dr Crawford and doing a few test he was able to tell me my back was fixable.

Dr. Crawford was confusing. On my first office visit, my complaints were severe neck, head, arm pain with numbness in my left arm primarily. I came with MRI, CT of head and neck. He immediately ordered x-rays. He told me to get a new MRI and come back. Second visit-apparently the MRI disc did not arrive so they got the MRI report. Dr. Crawford claimed that five years ago nothing could have been done for my neck but that he had a surgery that he had done a couple of times with about 50/50 results. Then he said he had to consult with his colleagues about the surgery. Then he referred me to a rheumatologist who could not see me for 9 months. Dr. Crawford made no follow-up appointment for me to see him. I was no better off having seen Dr. Crawford and had no plan of treatment but Dr. Crawford charged me almost $600 and the cost of another MRI. Really?

Excellent care by Dr Crawford

Had to wait 4+ hrs for my first appointment. Dr. told me to quit taking my pain meds and take over counter meds several times. I asked my doc that referred me to please refer me to another doc for a second opinion since I just found out I have a fracture after a car accident and am having problems since. Doc didn't seem concerned, didn't explain stuff good, and was more interested in eating his lunch.

I was not impressed with this doctor. He did not seem to care if i got treated no matter how much pain i was in he would tell to just twice of many over the county pain leaver He did not seem to care if it tore my stomach. If i new some one who was having the problems i had before i had back surgery i would tell them to go to a different doctor. definiltly not the norton spine center. they might have been good at one time but they have changed i sertenly will not go back.

Dr. Crawford was caring and understanding of my nerve pain. He has excellent bedside manner. When I came back for my follow-up visit after my surgery. He listened and answered my list of questions and concerns. I would and have recommended Dr. Crawford to my friends and family members.

If you ever want to be able to speak to your doctor or his nurse over the phone for problems don't go to this office. They always have you only leave messages on recordings and then never return the phone calls
