Dr. Charles Joseph Curatalo, MD

Good intentioned but, like many doctors, does not know what to do if results falls into a diagnostic grey area (which seems to be common in neurology). Also, he never seems to take notes and asks the same questions each appointment. He does his best, but i hope he can expand his knowledge of people with conditions outside of the textbook.

I sat in consultation and did not hold back any background history about myself so he could have a comprehensive view of my condition. He became very judgmental of my history and literally started lecturing me like he was my dad or something...super unprofessional and he purposely made me feel uncomfortable and judged. Would NOT recommend.

Dr Curatalo is the greatest doctor ever. He diagnosed my MS 20 years ago and is so thorough and caring. I really like him and would recommend him to everyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Curatalo since 2003. He is excellent, very smart, current and humble. I recommend him highly.

Was at the breaking point when I heard about Dr. Curatalo & immediately called to schedule an appt. I had to wait approx 3 weeks for an available opening, but that was fine with me. They sent me paperwork to fill out at home so I didn't have to "waste" a large chunk of my appt time with it (very much appreciated & a huge help!). I waited maybe 5 minutes in the waiting room, & was greeted by Dr Curatalo himself (not a nurse ushering me back into an exam room). He took the time to read the info I brought, to listen to my comments, & asked questions/clarification along the way. He was very professional & thorough, and a down-to-earth person (not a doctor who thinks they're a god). In addition, my exchanges/communications with his office personnel have been very pleasant.

I cannot say enough positive about this doctor. Prompt. Polite. Thorough. Followed up. Encouraged me to call if I had any issues. Exactly what you would expect an educated professional to be.
