Dr. Charles Denby II, MD

Dr. Charles Denby II is a wonderful psychiatrist. Even though he's not Irish I thought I'd post a review with St. Patrick's Day coming up. I'd been a patient of his for 25 years. He was a little rough around the edges when I first started seeing him during patient hours. As time progressed I understood. Dr. Denny congratulations on your retirement. You have served me well and many others who may not know it. You deserve it. BUT WHAT ABOUT BOB? SINCERELY Laurie

Last of the good doc's... he actually listens and makes educated decisions based in facts not what patients believe they need... has figured things out that my pcp has looked over. Thank you.

This was an especially disconcerting experience. Doesn't remember patient history and I need to repeat it every time I see him like we've never met before. He seems disconnected, aloof, cynical and only concerned with going through the motions like I'm just a faceless number. To anyone reading this I highly recommend for you to look elsewhere and finding a doctor who is truly present.

Went to Dr. Denby for a second opinion. Because the office had to cancel the initial appointment due to weather, they rescheduled for another day. When I arrived they said I was only scheduled for a follow up appointment and I explained this was my first time seeing him and they had rescheduled the first appointment due to weather. They said "well you will have to come back another day". I said that would not work as I had a new job and had already taken the afternoon off and had driven an hour. I also reminded them I had to give a credit card number just to get an appointment and that this was not fair since it was their scheduling mistake. They asked me to wait a minute and said ok he will see you. When my session started it was very apparent he was angry. He was VERY rude, dismissive and made no eye contact with me as he went down what appeared to be a laundry list of questions. 15 minutes later the appointment was done. Waste of time, one of the rudest people I have ever met.

experienced rudeness,wrong diagnosis,had,2 nurses in the office while iwas with him, that i did not know, overmedicated me with the wrong medicine that made me like a zombie,my therapist took it from me and changed my doctor. i was diagnosed by an expert dr before him with borderline personality and then by dr. denby as histrionic. i do not recommend him.

Does an excellent job diagnosing disorders.
