Dr. Charles Dennis Hasse, MD

Meet Dr. Hasse 
Dr. Charles D. Hasse is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and obtained his postgraduate residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine.  Dr. Hasse graduated with his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Hasse currently is the Director of the Center for Oral Facial Reconstruction; an AAAHC accredited Surgery Center in Irvine, California.  He is the former Chief of Staff at the Irvine Regional Hospital and Medical Center where he also served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery.  He is a qualified medical evaluator (QME) for the Industrial Medical Council of the State of California.  He has also been appointed as a general anesthesia evaluator by the State of California Board of Dental Examiners.
Dr. Hasse has contributed to innumerable professional programs throughout North America and worldwide from Australia to Italy.  He has authored several …abstracts, articles, texts, and educational tapes on subjects relating to temporomandibular joint disorders, reconstructive jaw surgery, cosmetic surgery and dental implants.
Dr. Hasse was recipient of the TMJ Research Foundation Award given annually to the outstanding resident doctor in TMJ research.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a former Regent representing all of the oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the western states (9 states).  He previously taught at the Marquette University School of Dentistry and Loma Linda University and the Charles R. Drew Schools of Medicine.
Dr. Hasse has maintained a lifetime professional interest in aesthetic surgery. He was the first oral and maxillofacial surgeon certified by the Beckman Laser Institute at the University of California, Irvine.  He regularly attends and lectures at the Annual Cosmetic Surgery Symposiums sponsored by the American College.  He recently published “Genioplasties for Facial Rejuvenation” in the text Simplified Facial Rejuvenation.  He recently completed a chapter on aesthetic maxillofacial surgery for the text Cosmesis of the Mouth, Face and Jaw.
Dr. Hasse has been married to the former Edith Stern for 34 years.  They have two children, Heather, the Director of Membership Services at the Jewish Community Center of Orange County, and Tiffany, a manager at Panera’s Breads in the Embarcadero in San Francisco.  They reside in Newport Coast, California.  Dr. Hasse is an avid sports enthusiast enjoying golf, skiing, hockey and most water sports.
Dr. Charles D. Hasse has been the recipient of numerous honors during his 31 years as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
