He is very abrupt and does not listen to your concerns. Staff was great tho. Also not happy with the results. Disappointed!

He is a brilliant and friendly surgeon. Not easy to find both in one doctor.

I have had Dr. H since 2000. He has always shown compassion, wit and professionalism to the highest of levels. When I got a flat tire ( breast) and had to go back for a replacement, he had no hesitation in helping me again and reminding me of the best time to come back for a consult on the time frame which would be helpful for the next replacement. I felt as if I was visiting a highly experienced relative on every visit. He always made sure I was aware of everything and very comfortable, always.

Thorough and compassionate. Dry wit. His style clicked with me. I am finishing up reconstructive surgery. Hopeful I will not need any other procedures, but I would seek his expertise again.

A+ Doctor! I have been seeing Dr. Hergrueter off and on since May 2014 when I first began my breast cancer journey and just had my most recent surgery last week. He is a magnificently talented doctor who is knowledgable, patient and kind. I never once felt rushed by him or his staff, who are all A+ as well. You are more than a number on a chart and he treats the whole patient;not just the parts he is operating on. During a particularly tough time for me, I had called his office to cancel an appointment...he took the time to personally call me and talk to me about all my options. I HIGHLY recommend him!!

Dr. Hergrueter is a superbly skilled surgeon, as well as, a kind and caring human being. I've undergone multiple procedures with him including cyst removal on both my face and breast with excellent results. Considerate and caring, meticulous and talented...I wouldn't go anywhere else in New England.
