Dr. Charles Joseph Anderson, MD

After our regular physician left Naples to return to her hometown up north we found Dr. Charles Anderson. Both my wife and I had introductory appointments with him and we both agreed we found the right family doctor. He sat with us individually, eye to eye and knee to knee, and asked dozens of questions about our overall health and more specifically about our health concerns. Some months later my wife and I each required his services for separate issues and we both found his demeanor was unchanged. Neither of us felt rushed. When the appointment was over and before walking out of the room he stops and gives a summary of everything we talked about and makes sure his follow up instructions are understood. He listens intently and, in the final analysis, his prescriptions and recommendations resolved our medical issues. How lucky can we get? He actually cares. Dr. Anderson is a refreshing exception in the medical field.

I have been going to Dr. Anderson for over 5 yrs.. He is very methodical and always follows a logical approach to diagnosis. I read one of the comments that he stated to the patient, "I don't want to insult your intelligence" does not sound like the experiences I have had with Dr. Anderson. While he is not a overly warm and fuzzy guy , he makes up for it with competence and logic. I can't imagine going to another family doctor.

Excellent physician and his nurse is terrific, makes being at the doctor a pleasant experience

Great doctor, I credit him with saving my life. He went on a hunch and ran some bloodwork and directed me to a specialist. His office staff is very efficient and I can't say enough about his nurse, she is such an asset. Very caring, friendly and competent. I would recommend this office in a heart beat .

Have been a patient for years, Dr. Anderson and his staff go above and beyond. His nurse always calls with test results even if they are normal which I find to be helpful. Anytime I call I am always able to speak directly with the nurse who is very pleasant, and sometimes even the doctor calls me back. I find this office to be very efficient and very friendly. I actually look forward to my appointments.

I recently moved to the area and was recommended to Dr. Anderson. So glad I was. His whole practice is amazing starting with the office staff and the nurse Domoni. I was treated so well and did not feel rushed at any time which is unheard of now a days. So happy with this practice.

I am surprised that a good hospital like Physicians Regional will keep an incompetent doctor like him on their staff. I wouldnt even send my pet to him. He sent us for numerous tests before some other doctor diagnosed my husband with gall bladder problems. He did not seem to even care that my husband lost 70lb. in five months, which caused all kinds of complications during and after the gall bladder surgery. He is not a doctor, he is a salesman and seems to have no respect for his patients health.

Being new to the area with new health insurance I searched my plan and found Dr. Anderson. His staff is great, can't say the same about him. He prefaced every sentence with "I don't want to insult you, but" which of course is a prelude to an insult. He didn't diagnose anything, instead he collected his fee and referred me to 3 other doctors in his network... hmmm... taking care of his buddies, I guess. This guy couldn't form an opinion if it was handed to him on a piece of paper. He probably still lives with his mother, I'm sure she's very proud.
